The Unwanted Bride: Claimed By The Billionaire Novels & Stories

A billionaire businessman and mogul, he had the looks and the money any woman would normally desire. But I would live a life of eternal sorrow if I married that man, because he was only seeking a breeding tool. He had lost his wife five months ago—Anna Wilson. She was the opposite of everything he embodied, yet the poor woman had died while giving birth to their child, the acclaimed heir to his family’s fortune. And now he was searching for a new wife. My greedy father and wicked stepmother were using their connections to push me forward as the sacrificial lamb, all for the financial benefits it would bring to my father’s debt-ridden company.

Listening to her it was as if she was explaining something as simple and natural as making a cake, and not weird and crazy as marrying a man she was already engaged to. “Wait, hold up,” I said, finding my voice. “Let me get this straight, you want to pay me to marry your fiance? Why?” “It dosen’t matter. It's only for some months. Then you will be free and I’ll give you five million dollars.” She said. My eyes nearly popped out of my head. If she was willing to spend that kind of money then obviously it did matter and I told her so. “Why don’t you want to marry him?” I asked.

“Never did.” “Then why not just divorce her?” The question that had circled my head for years finally left her mouth. I stared at the ceiling a moment, then answered in the flat tone I’d perfected long ago. “Because I’m not allowed to.” She frowned. “What do you mean?” I drew a slow breath. “This marriage was Grandfather’s dying wish. If I divorce her before producing a legitimate male heir, the controlling shares of Winchester Group go straight to my uncle: the one who’s hated me since I was a kid. It’s ironclad, written before he died. Emely never knew.”

Spencer looked at the plate in front of her. Her mother had put all her love and hard work into that meal, she could tell. They never ate such extravagant food. She had given her the most tender piece of meat, which she probably cooked to comfort her, but she couldn't eat it. Not even one bite. Her stomach turned in all directions. She felt nauseous. Her father just dropped a bomb on her . She was told that she was to marry someone she had never met before. Someone she didn't love. Someone that was a pariah to society. The 'one-handed monster' that's what the people in town called that someone.

"We had an agreement, you promised me one of your daughters. I always wanted Blair, but you pushed Raven at me instead. And now that Raven’s married into the Barrett family, I want what was originally mine." My heart skipped a beat the moment I heard him say that. So he never wanted to marry Raven? The thought of marrying him disgusted me. The man was old enough to be my father. I only agreed to be his side chick because he spends all his money on me. I never planned to spend the rest of my life with an old man, no matter how much money he had.

"I was joking. I am not a fan of being chocked, but if it's your thing then we could make it work." "I'm not kidding over here Mesta. Why did you tell father I slept with you?" "I did not. I swear. Okay,it might have slipped up when we were talking about you going to the base." "I'll kill you." "We both know you can't." I pull my hand away. "My wedding is tomorrow." "I'll bring something good for both the bride and the groom." "You are not invited." "I don't need an invitation." "You won't even be around." "What?"

Fuck I feel like beating someone up. Sherry: (Send a laughing emoji) Let's chat later. Tara: Sure, tomorrow is the press conference, so you should be prepared. Sherry smiled a little and exited their chat. She logged into her social media. She doesn't have to look for news, the first headline she saw was news about her. She clicked on it and read the first line. "HEARTLESS DAUGHTER ABANDONED HER BLOOD FATHER AFTER GETTING MARRIED RICH"

I said without much ado. His brow furrowed when I showed him a photo of a beautiful girl. The girl my uncle betrothed to me, but I reject. For me, the girl I want just like Emma, my beautifull wife. "She's my cousin, the daughter of a famous Billionaire in Milan. Her father wants me to find a mate for her and I think you're the right person," I persuaded him. He looked at the photo and smiled, "I'm sorry sir, I already have a girlfriend and in a few days we will get married," he said, returning the girl's photo to me.

My thumb hovered over the green answer button. For three days, I had waited. Three days of humiliation. Three days of unanswered questions. Three days of watching my name become the country's favorite headline. ABANDONED BRIDE LEFT AT ALTAR. BILLIONAIRE CHOOSES SOCIALITE OVER FIANCÉE. WEDDING OF THE YEAR ENDS IN DISASTER. Every headline reopened the wound. And through it all... Nothing. No call. No message.

Her mother advised. “You will be a wife to such a young millionaire.” Her siblings said to her and so as not to become the black sheep of the family, she agreed; at least she was silent through it all and the silence was counted as an approval and the marriage was planned. The marriage was a large society wedding and none of the about to be couple have a say in the way the marriage ceremony was planned. It was a dream come true for the family. The khitbah was not properly done, none of the young couple have any questions for themselves and those they didn’t see each other. They are children to family friends and both are from a good home, that was all.
