Someone ripped it. April Rose felt like there were a lot of important information about Cassandra Spellflower that was taken out of the book. She felt a surge of eagerness to know more about Cassandra. She flipped the pages of the book hoping to find the ripped pages, but she couldn’t find them. She grabbed a different book, flipped the pages over and over again only to find nothing but dust falling. She grabbed two more books and flipped them in hopes of finding the missing pages. After Ang had left a slightly heartbroken Annalisa and I had continued on with the dare or dare for a while before she decided it was boring and decided to watch a movie. Unfortunately for me the movie that she had in mind was the Titanic…(yes the one that starred Leonardo Decaprio) so you could have imagined how it all panned out. One minute she was flinging her popcorn at the television screen because she thought that rose does not know how privilleged she was and the next minute she was bawling her eyes out because Jack had died of hypothermia and she didn't exactly cater to my opinion on how rose could have probably saved jack if she had decided to take turns in sharing the wooden plank

She helped herself to one of the chairs and placed the thick book on the table. Soon she got so immersed in the book that she didn't even notice that Jack had been standing beside her for 3 minutes. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore and cleared his throat. There was no reaction from Vanessa as she was in deep thoughts. 'This book is really good. It's a pity... a pity that I...' she was dragged back to reality when Jack knocked on the table twice.

I turn to her. “I recommend the class I took. I cooked the Thanksgiving turkey this year, and it wasn’t even raw in the middle!” Sky grabs both bowls and heads for the couch. “Well? Ready for Titanic?” We follow her, and once the movie starts, we settle onto the couch under a pile of blankets. We stay quiet for most of the film until the tragic scene hits. “Why, Jack? Why you?” Carly sobs into a tissue. “Rose is selfish. She should’ve shared the space.” Sky shoves a handful of popcorn into her mouth, sniffling.

Then he chuckled. "Watching the two of you is just like watching Romeo and Juliet's movie all over again. Or rather, Jack and Rose from the Titanic movie… Wasn't their love story interesting?" His smile became darker. "Unfortunately, in the movie, the two main characters didn't get to survive at the end. Jack just had to die for Rose to live, right?" I froze.

A looked crossed his eyes,but it went away as quickly as it came, and soon he was looking at me amused again. "Of course, I didn't anticipate finding raunchy books in a sweet girl's bag, you're definitely right. Noted, I'm never doing that again." I scowled and he smirked. "So Rosie?" He asked, I couldn't help it, I rolled my eyes at that, rubbing at my temples. "No, my name's Rosette, not Rosie. That's childish." "Okay, so Rose. Well that's a pretty name for a very pretty girl, as cliché as it sounds, it's the truth, you're a pretty little flower." And the blush that was barely receding was back again.

Jacob and I ignored him as we passed by and headed to Rose's father's house. "Hold your horses," Rose's dad said after Jacob banged on the door. "You have some nerve to..." Charles became silent once he saw that Jacob and I were standing by the door. "Mr. King, what a pleasant surprise," Charles said. I just walked past him and into his apartment. The apartment was filthy. There were cigarette butts and empty beer bottles everywhere. Dirty dishes with old food were on the coffee table.
