Tamara’s POV The scream tore out of my throat and kept tearing inside me, scraping through my chest until everything was heat and feral rage. My vision burned red as two figures moved in front of me. I lunged before thought could catch up. One went down with my hand crushing his throat, the other’s arm snapped before he could even draw his weapon. Their pleas blurred into distant noise. “You shot her,” I said in a voice that didn’t sound like mine, before silencing the last man in heavy, final quiet.

Frank died in a demented frenzy, his screams turning to a gargling rattle, as his face was torn apart and devoured. The castle fed on his pain. I scream. It’s a raw, animal sound that tears my throat. I swing my fist. I drive the key into his eye. SQUELCH. The sound is wet. Horrifying. The Reaper shrieks. He drops my legs, clutching his face. Blood spurts between his fingers, black in the shadows. "My eye! She got my eye!" The other two drop me. I hit the ground hard, the impact jarring my teeth. I scramble backward, crab-walking away from them, my vision swimming.

“Start us off, Leo.” I laugh as TMNT starts up. “LEONARDO.” “DONATELLO.” Jay yells. “MICHEALANGLEO.” Ryan yells, making Jack laugh and whisper in Ryan’s ear. Jay and I could hear what he said. “That fits you so well.” Ryan has his mate. But we all stare at Raymond. He is stone faced. “I need to do something,” I tell Jeremy. “Close your eyes.” “What are you going to do?” Jeremy asks, holding me tightly.

His eyes pool up with tears, and I scream when I see something bigger push its way out of his mouth. Tamica's incantations become even louder, echoing across the almost empty prison. The black-looking lumpy object keeps climbing out of Dion's throat until he finally pushes out the last of it. Then he slumps on the floor, gasping for air, struggling to breathe again. Slowly, I stand from the floor, my mouth shot open and my eyes widen in shock as I stare at a slimy creature wringing on the floor like a legless lizard. "What the hell!" Clifton shouts out as my other mates are equally shocked as me, following Clifton's example with outraged shouts.

But she gets an unreliable answer from Ario, "...Don’t know." Before they can guess about the danger, some weird monsters jump in through the broken windows. Like the side characters of any other thriller movie, Tina screams out loud as she closes her eyes immediately after noticing those ugly beasts. Ario and Megan quickly measure the danger limit and take fighting positions as they take their claws out. They run towards those monsters before they jump on them.

But Neptune only smirked, tightening his hold. “This is getting boring,” Neptune sighed. “Maybe I should just snap your neck and be done with it.” Panic surged through me. My body shook as I watched Trent struggle, his face turning pale, his breaths growing weaker. “No!” I screamed, scrambling to my feet. I couldn’t just stand there. I couldn’t watch him die. But just as I took a step forward, a loud sound filled the air. A deep, powerful growl. The ground trembled beneath me. Neptune’s grip loosened slightly as he turned his head. His expression shifted from amusement to shock.

I swallow, forcing myself to steady my breathing. “Yeah,” I say, though it comes out softer than I mean it to. “I just… lost focus for a second.” Jenny studies me for a moment longer, like she doesn’t fully believe that. But she nods anyway. “Alright. Shake it off,” she says gently. “Stay present.” I nod back. But my fingers still hover near my neck. Because the warmth is still there. Just then the sharp sound of the whistle cuts through the gym. Everyone stops instantly.
