Christiana said evenly. "Busybody," he spat, then shoved past her. His shoulder slammed into hers hard enough to make her stumble. He did not look back. The other guy, the quiet one, finally moved. He walked past her slowly, his gaze locked on hers. He did not say anything. Did not apologize or accuse. He just looked at her with dark, unreadable eyes that seemed to catalog everything about her in a single glance. Then he was gone. Christiana stood there, her shoulder still aching from where Noah had hit her. Jess was being led away by one of the officers, still crying. The courtyard was emptying, students dispersing now that the drama was over.

I asked putting the last bit of grocery in the refrigerator. "He left like an hour ago" Sophia said walking out of a random room. Sophia is one of the witches that is helping me with my process, one of Heath's sisters. Heath is also a witch or should I say a wizard and has been able to maintain his youthfulness for about forty years now so I am saying twenty year old Heath is actually in his fifties. Nothing is shocking when you are connected to so many supernaturals.

Knock-knock, handsome, is anyone but the woodworms at home?” Rhett slapped the sketch book shut and rose to his feet, stalking towards her, his nostrils flaring with the force of his anger. “When did you become a f-king bitch? Who turned Heath into a f-king cyborg? She’s standing there snarking whilst she holds a long f-king black after spending the night f-king a lumberjack from Zeus f-king Forest Works. Does that compute, princess?”

Mordechai “One day, I swear that I’ll stand over the graves of every single Locke left on this planet,” Jonathan sighed, tapping a pen on his desk. “I’m tired of this. I’m really, really tired.” I had nothing to say in response. Truthfully, he didn’t want me to respond. He wanted to get out all of his anger in a long, frustrated rant. I stood there, listening to every word and looking him in the eye so he knew I listened. Even if I didn’t listen, it would have been enough to be present as he ranted.

“Has to be one of the weirdest jobs. So, what do you do for a living? Well, I’m a snack food.” Tyler almost sprayed his coffee but managed to swallow, his eyes watering. “Don’t you mean that you’re the snack food, and I’m the main meal?” He grinned. “I’m dessert,” she corrected with a smirk. "An aphrodisiac." “I have to go,” Heath entered the kitchen and leaned over to brush a kiss over Aislen’s forehead. “My father is causing shit, and the Triquetra has been called in to meet with August and Abigail to discuss… Well, things,” he said.

Watching Aislen fluster and look down at her flowers made Cameron’s belly flip-flop. “Hmmm,” Talen smile shone brightly as he lowered his chin to his chest and reached for the button of his jeans. He glanced up, catching Heath watching him with his mouth hanging open in raw lust. Heath’s mouth closed with an audible click of teeth. “And that is a situation because?” Talen purred, taking the conversation back to Rhett’s comment. Heath inhaled and released the breath, seeking to regain control of himself and the situation. “What do you propose, Talen Gawaine of the Concordia, that we do about the fact that your mate, is also our mate?”

Heath timidly said. I looked at him for a moment, trying to figure out where I remembered him from. I am going to be having a conversation with my Gamma here soon because I have a feeling that Heath is a sibling of Christian's. "Well... Heath...can you tell me when Mr. Carrington will be back?" Heath eyed me apprehensively. "The boss was supposed to be here today, but apparently something came up with his daughter. I hope that he will show up tomorrow." I cocked my head at the way he said daughter. "He has a daughter? I was not aware of that."
