Valerie Raven Novels & Stories

Oh, wait, I know who—this red-haired bitch over here would. I could taste iron at every corner of my mouth, my back aching from the slightest movement but I swallowed hard on the pain. “You…” she said, pointing at me while trying to catch her breath. " You're Mia, right? The daughter of Ray Valisteen, AKA the Valisteen Princess?” “Who's asking?" I said, trying to keep my voice struggling to sound calm and mocking but cracked a little while biting back the pain.

Evidence of a hard life that centered around physical labor and toil, no doubt. “Hey Sheriff,” said Amal. “We’re the Conspiracy of Ravens: I’m Azrael, and with me are Freya, Raijin, and… uh…” When she got to Claire, she realized she was at a loss. Not once had she mentioned her callsign, which was absolutely necessary if they were going to work partially in the gray. “Call me Claire,” she said. “We need to have a talk about operational anonymity,” said Eva with a chuckle. “Well, okay, glad to have you Ravens at our settlement!” said the Sheriff.

You have to meet someone about it. The door opened and a tall, attractive woman entered before she could ask him any more questions. Her long, dark hair in a slick ponytail, her keen features, and her eyes, which gleamed with intelligence and something more sinister, commanded attention. With a familiarity that made Isabella's stomach turn, her eyes darted to her and then back to Xander. The woman held out a hand to Isabella and murmured, "Vivian Royce," in a silky voice. "You must be Mrs. Blackwood's replacement. A joy.

"Give her back. Let my mother go, and I'll leave. Keep her, and I'll kill every wolf in your pack until I reach her cell." Kelvin straightened, despite his wounds, despite the blood staining his torn clothing. His golden eyes met mine, and what I saw there wasn't hatred or even anger. It was a pity. "You can't win this fight, Racheal," he said quietly. "You're powerful, yes. Your awakening is impressive. But you're wounded from your battle with Kelly. Exhausted. Running on rage and adrenaline. While I—" He gestured to his warriors. "—have an entire pack at my command. Fresh warriors who haven't just survived torture and a facility collapse."

I watched as he used those flames to reclaim the docks, lighting up the night, smiling as he said, "Once I've secured my position, I'll marry you in grand style." I thought we would last a lifetime. I never imagined our love would crumble under a few careless lies from Lina. Lina had said, "She's a merchant's daughter. What could she want besides money?" Yet, she never knew that last year, when the Valentino Family faced a financial collapse, it was I who transferred 30 million through anonymous accounts to help them survive. And just last month, when a rival family sent assassins, it was I who had my bodyguard take a bullet for him…

~VALERIE~ “What the hell?!” Everyone gasped. I stood at the center of Raven’s Peak with hands clasped tightly in front of me and my palms damp. The torches flickered with the night wind as rain clouds hung low above us like they were waiting for something terrible to happen. The murmurs came next. “An Omega?” “Why is she even here?” “This must be a mistake.” I swallowed.. of course it was about me.

“The flames you bear, the ones that brought you here, are part of a prophecy. They are a gift and a curse, a beacon of change that will shape the future of our kind.” Charlotte’s heart pounded as the woman’s words sank in. “What does that mean? Why me?” “Because you are her,” the woman replied, her tone reverent. “You are named for the harbinger of fate, the one who bridges the divide between worlds. The flames chose you for a reason.” The child like voice appeared again. It screamed in her ears, “RAVEN”.. RAVEN… She has heard that before…but where? The name sent a shiver through Charlotte, as if it resonated with a part of her she hadn’t known existed.

Raven rushes to the basement where she keeps Valaria. Valaria is a plant or more like a herb that helps cures injuries and sicknesses with vampires and warewolves. She goes back to her room and serves the plant to Sternberg. Sternberg becomes absolutely fine and makes it clear that she doesn't have much time left. Raven looks at her phone and it's Devon calling. Devon; Raven! Brownie I found a cure so I'm guessing it's safe to call you Brownie now.

When I reach out to grab her throat a smirk crosses Valery’s lips as she grabs my wrist, struggling against my hold. I don’t move while trying to tighten my grip before I slowly begin to drop, fighting to breathe. I hear my mates howl in agonizing pain as I begin to seize on the ground with foam coming from my mouth, with everyone watching in horror. “Raven!” Liliana screams, running to my side as my eyes stay focused on Valery, confused about what had just happened. “You really should be more careful,” Valery smiles while showing off a ring that has a sharp spike facing inwards that is dripping blood.

The girl halted rushing to meet up with Val and Mia. "Raven" The girl mumbled enough for Val and Mia to hear but luckily for Mia, Val was sort of distracted by his phone's notification. Mia pulled the girl aside" So, you are Val's sister? I'm Mia, his best friend so what's your name?" "I'm Lola, Val calls me Lollipop" the girl beamed with smiles. "You are Raven" She said observing Mia's face strangely. Mia was shocked, reason was the girl recognized her through the ugly girl facade she had been keeping for so long.
