“This is his mother?’ Valery forgot to breathe. ‘She’s… she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.’ Her mind and her heart agreed at once. ‘She’s a hundred times more beautiful than my mum, maybe a thousand. Is it even fair for one person carry themselves like this?’ All the sourness about Ryan’s hostility disappeared. She was simply drooling to get close to their mother, to be liked by her. This was the ultimate vision, she wanted to be just like her. For the first time in her life, Valery wanted to hide her hands behind her back, hide her plain dress, her ordinary face. Riley, oblivious to her awe, grinned and blurted out, “Mum, this is Valery. She’s my girlfri-” Valery’s hand shot out

her mother said excitedly as she clapped and stood behind the cake. “Come on, guys, let’s sing happy birthday.” She added. My jaw dropped. Does this woman even read the room at all? What on earth was the meaning of this? Suddenly, the door snapped open again. This time it wasn't the maids or anyone who would ordinarily be here. The air turned icy. I didn’t need anyone to tell me who it was. Arden. “I need your attention, Mr. Revanchi.” His voice vibrated across the room.

I climbed onto the rock and stood beside her, following her gaze across the valley below. What if you don’t have to fight? You know Cato is his mother’s son right? On the surface of it, he’s a lot like Alpha Loren, but deep down, he has the Luna’s values. Things will improve after December 20th. She set her marvellous amber eyes on mine. Can you promise that?

"A bad day is one thing, acting like you don't give a shit about Raven and fucking a random woman isn't a bad day, that's you spiralling." "Enough, we will sort Ashton out after." I turn and look at Grayson. "When Raven was fifteen, things started happening in her life. She had a stalker, he would send her pictures of her, and leave her gifts and stuff. At seventeen, Raven was at her friend's party, it was a masked party, and her friend was killed." I look at him shocked, but confused why that has anything to do with Raven?

I turned to see a blonde hair guy asking me "Oh I'm fine" I said "Really? Are you new here?" "Oh no no.. I'm actually here to find my boyfriend" I smiled and he nodded "Who is your boyfriend?" "Joey Harris" I said "Oh I think I saw him upstairs" He pointed up "Thank you! I'm Valentine" I take out my hand and he shake it "I'm Ron" "Thankyou Ron" I said and I ran to the nearest stair , ran upstairs and walked slowly. My eyes widened and smiled widely as I saw the person that I've been missing for the past 6 months.

I said defeated but my words did works putting a big smile on her the face, which for some reason made me smile too. ******** Rachel I'm walking faster than I should, it's almost as if I'm running but I don't care, I have duties that needed my care at times like this, Brandon has to run for emergency delivery, and Jane is also out of town on times like this, so I have to take care stay the night with Marlene. I don't have any problem babysitting at night. All I've to do is stay with Marlene and that's all. I came in front of Brandon's door in no time only to find Brandon standing there all dressed up, ready to up. "Ready to leave doc," I waved, teasing him with a bit of a smile.

She let out a rough breath, recalling the many things that happened before arriving at the cafe. "Sorry deh, I have come. You know what kind of person Asher is, don't you? The butler intercepted me outside before he reported to Asher, and I was too late to get there. On top of that, I was on my way here. I bumped into this weird guy who claimed I was Alexa, the person he knew. Isn't that CRAZY!" Vallen said, raising her tone by an octave. Vallen is chatty with Raisa only. To other people, don't expect Vallen to answer words at length, let alone familiarly. Yes... Vallen is indeed an arrogant and indifferent person. Forget it!

His chest rumbles when makes his way around the bed to my line of sight seeing tears slip down my cheeks. “Raven, what happened?!” Osric gently asks while sitting in front of me. He cautiously reaches out placing his hand on the side of my face sending relaxing sparks dancing on the surface of my skin. I hold his had to my face and take a deep breath of his calming scent letting my mate comfort me the best he can. “Michelle helped Gerard find Raven when he raped her. Gerard and Donnie threatened to hurt Valery to get Michelle’s help,” Embry clarifies, I whimper at the image of Gerard on top of me thrusting himself into me harder.

“The area is clear but I sense that something is coming. We’re on guard. Just waiting on the rest of you.” Both betas and deltas of the Silver, as well as Shadow Veil, flanked ahead. Ares and I stayed at the rear, canvasing anywhere that may have been missed. Some of the younger generation joined as well. Harlyn, Talon, and Penelope were among the few and I proudly admit that they were doing very well. What I must admit was the most remarkable, however, was Valene and her mother. Valene’s power was magnificent and among the rarest that I had ever seen. In bursts, she would appear and then completely disappear into a hoard of winged-shadow creatures. It was an amazing sight to behold. With he
