Parsey's Saviour

Life had never been fair but it always throws two options at you, either the right or the left and the ball always falls in your court to pick one path to follow. The path you decide to take either makes you or it destroys you, so whatever decision you take in life there are always repercussions that follows because each decision you make have a two sided effect." The philosophy lecturer kept on talking to the students in the class that were not really interested in his very long and boring lectures. Some of the students were already asleep in class while others were pressing their mobile phones waiting for the lecturer's time to be exhausted so they could run home. The lecturer was a middle aged man, with quite a very low and non commanding voice. All of the students but one paid close attention to the lecturer, Raven was a very young and beautiful lady that just moved into town recently with her family because her father was drafted to that location after 20 years of working with the pharmaceutical company.

Raven Heart was quite a character that judged life with similarities to the novel she constantly reads to kill time because she didn't really have no friends in the city they stayed before they moved to Parsey town. Raven was the only child of Roger and Brenda Heart, they did their possible best to get their daughter to socialize but she doesn't seem to fit in with the peers that was around her so moving to a new city was quite a good thing for her parents because their daughter would get the opportunity to finally find a new friend and maybe quit her lonely life of reading novels. Raven had quite the IQ for a 19 years old and she knew more than what people of her age should know.

It was her first day in school in Parsey town and she was the only one that seemed interested with the ongoing philosophy lecturer. While others murmured " when the fuck is he going to stop talking and leave the class already"

" the time for the class has almost elapsed and so I will soon take my leave, does anyone have any questions? The lecturer asked . Everyone in the class but one person echoed " we have no questions sir". Raven had her hands held up in the sky "over here Sir, I have a question to ask" she said. One of the students from the behind said " well the new girl is also a dweeb" and they all laughed . "class, let's take it down a notch with the noise. I don't seem to actually remember your face and I'm actually very good with faces. I'm guessing you're new. so why don't you just stand up and give the class and myself a little introduction about yourself before you go on ahead to answer the question, the lecturer addressed Raven.

Raven was a very shy type and she already gave the wrong impression to her new classmates who saw her as a kill joy. She slowly stood up from her seat and it was quite obvious that she was really anxious, she began to sweat even before saying anything. She had this fear of speaking in public and she was generally scared of people apart from her num and dad.
