By choice.” And that ruins Damon more than any bullet could have.

Ever since she arrived at Blackthorn, it hadn’t appeared and she would have preferred it that way, but now, she feared it won’t always be like that anymore. On her arm, she saw the lines again, like vines twisting and circling. It moved on its own and it had a glow of its own—a faint one. She raised her arm and watched it closely, not understanding what it was and why it chose her out of the billions of people alive. Or could it be that she wasn’t the only one? Like how she discovered that there are vampires and wolves in the school, could there be more out there? Even from her other school?

Give me the vessel!” Damon snarled and shifted one arm into claws, slashing at her spectral form while still holding me. “Stay the fuck away from my mate and pup!” Victor attacked from the other side. “She belongs to the Blackthorn bloodline!” I was trapped between pain, pleasure, and two monsters trying to claim what was inside of me. What sort of shit had I gotten myself into? “Damon, I need you,” I begged, my voice breaking. “Inside me. Please. It helps.”

From what I can tell, her other bloodline might possibly be under Elizabeth’s bloodline— because, for a vampire, she’s beautiful. “A vampire…huh. Whose bloodline were you under…?” I said to Sherry. “Eh? You are familiar with the vampire race…?” “I read history, more or less.” “My family bloodline is under Lord Ambrogio, Lord Gaius, and Lady Elizabeth.” Hearing those unbelievable words, I shook my head for a moment to clear my thoughts. “Say that again?” I ask to confirm once more. “Okay… Lord Ambrogio, Lord Gaius and Lady Elizabeth.”
