Richmond POV I stood beside Vanya, watching her transform right in front of my eyes. The timid, broken woman I had seen earlier was completely gone. In her place was a warrior, fierce and confident, standing up to her bullies with a strength that took my breath away. Every word she spoke made me more certain that she was the brave girl who had saved me fifteen years ago. "I have never slept around for money," Vanya said, her voice ringing clear across the restaurant. "And I don't owe you any explanations about my life or my finances."

Well, shit. My first thought was to courier them back, so that I didn't have to come face to face with that guy. But the couriers didn't want to send something so expensive, in such a short distance. So I dug out his information from the public records and now, I was standing in front of the magnificent villa, pondering on the fact that I would have to face him again, contemplating, whether I should go inside or not. The word 'VICTORS' were curved on the iron gate beautifully in a neat cursive. A tall, stony statue of mammon stood proudly at one side and a giant lion on the other.

It was the same day a big tantrum happened in the house with a big fight between Daniel's mom and his and my father too. The fight was so big that it even resulted in their divorce. I don't know, what was the reason behind their fight that was so big that it resulted in separation, even being a cheater can't separate Daniel's mother from his father but a fight did.
