Vanna Grace Novels & Stories

I murmured. “Speak of the devil.” Detective baker frowned. I looked in the direction of where he was looking and saw a woman in a suit walking toward us. She had a friendly smile painted on her face, but I had a feeling we wouldn’t be the best of friends. “Detective Baker, long time no see,” she beamed. “I prefer it that way,” detective Baker grumbled. He still hadn’t returned her smile. So they must have some kind of history there. She looked at me. “You must be Marina Davis,” she said. “I am Special Agent Danna Halman. You can call me Danna or agent Danna.”

Ayokong aminin pero may punto siya. Dahil kahit gaano pa ito ka-imposible, may record pa rin na lumalabas sa system. At hindi iyon basta mawawala. "Malay mo," sabi niya. "Ano na naman?" "Malay mo gwapo." Napairap ako. "Grace." "Malay mo mayaman." "Grace." "Malay mo CEO." "GRACE ANN!" Tumawa siya nang malakas.

If it was not for her, then she doesn't know how she would have survived this long in this house. Bless her! Grace is a beautiful old woman who has a strong personality. Her golden hair and brown shades, hazelnut eyes, and smooth skin make her look younger than her age. Grace is passionate about the things she does. It is very rare, or would rather say, once in a blue moon; it happens that she is behind her schedule. Unlike on other days, today Grace ran late. So, she asked Fiona to set the plate for Justin.

Different is what I need right now. Leaving the bathroom with a solemn promise to myself, I hop on a different train and pray that whatever the future has for me will be good. After sitting, an older woman is scolding her daughter, whom she calls "Ashanti." Ashanti. I love it. Ashanti Dunbar. Perfect.

A voice came from behind the two. Gael and Leonard turned around in unison and they were both shocked at the sight of Ashton. Ashton was walking over with a woman and the two were holding hands. The woman had fair skin, she was slender with a narrow waist and her legs were long. She looked beautiful as her long hair danced lazily in the wind. Ashton was as dashing as always but his face was a little pale. Gael's mouth was wide open after seeing his grandson. Leonard on the other hand had his eyes fixed on Maya as his eyes flashed with a mysterious light. No one could tell what he was thinking about or what was so interesting about Maya.

A woman snickers as she comes over to our table. I chuckle quietly at her statement. She stretches out her hand. “I’m Grace.” I return her handshake. “I’m Yanna and this is my husband Enzo.” “Oh everybody knows your husband darling….you look beautiful by the way.” She complements. I give her a warm smile. “So do you, you’re gorgeous.” The host keeps on rambling about the whole fucking history of the damn dolphins as I was starting to grow exhausted plus my feet were killing me in the heels I wore.

"That clown? With her background, what right does she have to compete with me?" "Lady Grace may not be a threat, but what about Lady Sylvia? Her father is the Minister of Justice; his position in the Supreme Court makes her powerful. If she aligns with Lady Carissa, it could jeopardize Prince Connor's position. You must endure this for now. Later, if you need to vent, you can take it out on us."

“You can stay as long as you like, courtesy of my husband to be and I.” Sylvia, the fox king's daughter, offered in smiles. I sensed she said it in a bid to spite me. Sylvia was a smallish Fox, her golden locs cascading like sunlight over her shoulders. With grace and power intertwined, she commanded the attention of all who beheld her. Her regal presence, though diminutive in stature, emanated an aura of authority that left no doubt of her sovereignty . Her gaze met mine, piercing yet gentle.

The sound of dragon wings filled the air, the roar of beasts signaling the start of something far greater than anyone could predict. Vanessa took a breath and straightened her back. There was no going back now. If she was going to be the weapon, then she would wield it herself. To be continued...

It was old, slightly yellowed, with a crack running down the middle as though it had been torn in two and then glued back together. I glanced up at Dwayne, but his face was unreadable now. The smile was gone. He whispered, "Celeste Vandelle. A Hollywood singer in the 1990s. She was incredibly talented. When she debuted, everyone thought she was going to be an international superstar. She’s my mother."
