In a few minutes, we arrived home and as Kenneth packed the car, I noticed a black Klade - Inferno one of my most recent models of our company car, and wondered who drove that here. With a deep sigh, I got down from the car and stared at our " magnificent mansion" before I scoffed and entered inside. As always, I ignored the greetings of everyone I met on the way to my room until I saw the last face I'd expect to see at our house - Viola. I froze when I saw her come out of Klyde's room. She was being led out by Victoria - my mother's maid and Viola's long mane of hair was ebony black unlike its former platinum blond color and it reached her butt - just seeing her hair that way was enticing.

The old elders of the pack raise their hands up signaling the beating of drums to stop. A few people mutter under their breaths before Dice walks forward, his white hair the only light to this gloomy day. “Viola Tate, for crimes against the Moon shadow pack all including murder of one of our high-ranked betas, Jamie Donovan, conspiring with the enemy, and using forbidden relics to kill. How do you plead?” Silence eats up the air and eats up my bones as Viola’s shrill laugh echoes into the air. Then cynically and meant to torture me into feeling weak and scared, her eyes mock mine and she whispers with a raspy smile.

Viola muttered with a dark laugh. “I just have to carefully plan how to end your happiness. If I get my hands on you, I’ll kill your kids in front of you, one at a time, slicing their throats and chopping off their bodies into tiny pieces. I’ll forever cherish the look of despair and the sadness in your eyes. I’ll make you powerless and kill you. Having Wilder wouldn’t save you. I would hurt you and that would be the same as taking away Wilder” Viola was ecstatic as she pictured everything in her head.

04|Options. ~~~~ My shoulders relax, atleast i am not being attacked by an assassin. “I am um… I am Amber.” I introduce myself, turning my back to her so I can close the refrigerator. The woman relaxes. “Oh, hey Amber. I am Viola.” She puts down her frying pan. “ Sorry for this, I presumed you would be asleep till I leave.” Her voice is thick with her accent, raven hair packed in a bun, she isn't dressed like a maid, in fact, she looks like the lady of the house.

"This is—wow." Zac chuckled softly. "My grandfather was a big reader. He quoted literature as if he were a human book himself." I turned to look at Zac, my eyes lit up. "Zac, this is amazing." Zac shrugged nonchalantly, smiling. "I thought you'd like it." He walked over to one wall, skimming the shelves until he pulled out a book. "I wanted you to have this." I looked at the book he held out for me to take. It was called "Bloom" by Kelle Hampton. I smiled at the title, meeting his eyes. "Wha—but why?"

I look at her with a confused expression, "Did you not see a woman attached to his arm at the mall? He even brought her back here! What kind of decent person brings their mistriss home when their wife is still there? Disgusting." Hestia pauses for a moment and then sighs, "I should go and bring back more cookies." I nod and watch as she leaves, hearing the click of the door behind her. I swear I could hear Anthony's laugh downstairs and it drives my heart rate back up. I stand and turn on the tv, turning it up loud enough to drown out any other kind of noise. I take a deep breath and lay down on my bed, looking at the tv but not paying attention to what is on the screen.

"I just want you to stay here for a couple of days, take a good look around this mansion. I've put a lot of effort into decorating it, and there are many things you would like. It would be a shame if you just leave without seeing them." As Viola walked over, she had noticed that the mansion was almost decorated according to her preferences. The colors she liked, the Baroque style she favored, and the glass-framed specimens of animals and plants along the walls, were all catered to her tastes. However, she had no mood to appreciate any of it now. "I'm not interested," she coldly replied. Nelson's eyelids twitched, and he lightly waved his fingers at his subordinates standing behind her. "So even you have come to hate your aunt? Have you all forgotten how good I've been to you? You used to love sitting by my side, listening to me tell stories..." "Before... Before, you weren't like this." Cedric didn't want to say more. After nodding to Travis, he quickly ran inside. Viola stood in the night wind, the jewelry on her clothes faintly jingling. She used to love the sound of the gold and emerald clinking together, but tonight, it felt grating and almost unbearable. Poppy helped her into the carriage. As they settled in, Viola straightened her posture, determined not to let the people from Hell Monarch Estate see her as a joke. She watched as the man from Hell Monarch Estate turn
