Leah had expressed her wishes to help Layla adjust her attitude toward studying and would like for Elliot and Avery to support her. As parents, both of them naturally wished that their children would be motivated to learn and accepted Leah's proposal. Toward the end of the call, Leah informed them of her relationship with Natalie and confessed that she was not close to Natalie.
