A Weight She Refused to Carry

A Weight She Refused to Carry

One, two, three, four, five. Each piece was neatly arranged before the box was packaged nicely. She gazed down at the unconscious Ezra on the floor, her eyes devoid of warmth. With a light voice, she spoke, "Ezra, don't blame me. I'm just returning the favor. You could drug me—why couldn't I do the same?"

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Hence, if someone must be held accountable, it should not be him. Then, Maisie traced her finger along with the weight inscription's pattern. There was still a faint smile on her face, but the solemness in her eyes was gone. Soon, Maisie turned to William and asked, "Uncle William, how much weight can a weapon gain if it's engraved with your weight inscription?" "About six to eight times heavier." Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

TO LOVE A WOLF

TO LOVE A WOLF

It would have taken multiple wolves to move. She walked over. Bent down. Gripped the log. Lifted. It came up easily. Like it weighed nothing. Clara held it over her head with one hand. The pack murmured. Impressed and alarmed. Clara set it down carefully. Checked her hands. No strain. No effort. "How much do you think that weighed?" Ash asked. "Several hundred pounds at least," Ronan said. "And she lifted it like a toy." "Speed next," Marcus suggested.

Blood and Bones

Blood and Bones

The back is almost entirely open, the lace framing bare skin all the way down to the base of the spine. My mother draws a breath. Maeve Callahan says, quietly, from her armchair: "that's the one." Siobhan makes a sound that is approximately "I knew it" in a single syllable. I put it on. The back is bare in a way I've never allowed myself to be in public — not because I was ashamed, but because I was

The Immortal Emperor Returns

The Immortal Emperor Returns

He liked to challenge and deal with difficulties. When he had climbed up 150 meters, the weight he bore reached 150,000 kilograms, which was the limit of Chu Xun's current strength. His bones were groaning, and his whole body was shining with golden light. Every step he took made a deep footprint, and blue veins stood out on his neck and forehead. He looked a little ferocious.

BONE CROWN

BONE CROWN

The horn's echo lingered beneath the mountain, rolling through the ancient corridors until even the stone seemed to hum with it. Fine dust drifted from the vaulted ceiling, catching the silver glow of the runes before settling across the Wardens' weathered armor. No one spoke. The Warden standing before Lyra remained perfectly still, its sword planted in the stone floor. Pale light burned inside its empty helmet as it waited with infinite patience. "Crown Bearer," it repeated, its voice carrying the weight of centuries. "State... your... burden."

Then his voice became serious. “Because you’re going to need that attitude.” He pointed to the brace. “You cannot put weight on that leg for five months.” Sophia blinked. “Five?” Rhoden nodded. “Not even a little.” He continued. “After that, we move to toe-touch weight bearing.” Sophia frowned. “What does that mean?” “Three months of barely touching the floor with your toes.” Sophia leaned back slowly. Rhoden continued like he was reading a grocery list. “After that we try light foot pressure.”
