Novel & Cerita What Happened To William In Invincible

Reign. Their mission accomplished, the hired group of men vanished into the night, leaving William's life shattered and broken. Can William know the culprit behind these tragedies in his life?

William praised. My Dad nodded in agreement and replied, “Yes, they are. I have seen.” Feeling left out, I approached them and sat among the both of them. Immediately my Dad spotted me, he wrapped his arms around me and smiled, then glanced at William. “Ava, I think you chose the right mate.” I smiled widely with joy. “Daddy, do you mean it?” He smiled. “William saved me today. He saved me from being separated from my beautiful daughter. I could have been shot, but he came right in time. Just like he saved you from Quill.”

“But it can’t be good.” William turned to the window. “He tried to destroy me. My name. My family.” “And now he’s working with Carlos,” Liam added. William turned back, his face hard. “Then this is war.” Liam stepped closer. “What do we do now?” William clenched his jaw. “We finish what he started. But this time, we won't lose.” William turned away from the window, fists clenched. “We trusted Carlos. He was family. And Clark… I thought that man disappeared for good.”

That was when I could see the shock and disbelief sink into the faces of, his wife, and even Hunter. As William took the stand, a hushed silence fell over the courtroom. His presence seemed to electrify the air, and I could see the tension crackling between him and my father like a live wire. With unwavering composure, William began to recount his experiences at the hands of the Kingstons, detailing how he had almost died and even lost his wife. He also explained that I was his real son and he had given me to my father when his life was being threatened.

The gentle, obedient she-wolf had always had the full strength of the Werewolf Kingdom behind her. William lifted his hand. He was ready to tear apart Cameron and Rebecca, the latter still being resuscitated in the emergency room. I used the last bit of strength to shake off my weakness. "William, this revenge is mine."

“You’ll see her soon enough.” I swallow thickly, praying my mom is okay. Alive. Unhurt. Just then, the door behind me swings open, and my heart drops to the pit of my stomach as William enters. It takes a split second for the first man to level a gun on him, and half that span of time for William to realize what is going on. He moves fast. In the blink of an eye, he disarms the man nearest to him, dodging a swing and grabbing the gun. He cocks it, and in the split second of lost focus, another man that has snuck up behind him smashes the blunt barrel of the gun on his head.

Gabriel and Gordon struggled with all their might and skills but they could not beat William, he was always a step ahead. They fought and fought until they exhausted all their energy. “You are the King, Uncle William. I swear my allegiance to you.” Gordon said. Gabriel and William laughed. “You two are getting better. Gabriel gave me a cut on my arm.” William said as he rolled up his sleeve to reveal the injury he sustained. “I wanted to do more.” Gabriel said as he fell to the ground.

And I moved, silently, precisely, slipping into the shadows behind him, knife still hidden, breath steady, heart calm. “You’re…” he breathed, turning, realizing too late. “…impossible.” “Not impossible,” I said softly, voice deadly calm. “Just awake. Just alive. And just… done running.” He froze, and in that moment, I understood the truth I had been discovering over the past weeks: William wasn’t invincible. He wasn’t untouchable. His power was fear and fear could be manipulated, twisted, turned against him. William was something else, but I couldn’t run away, I have to win on any circumstances.

My colleague, Gary Thompson, kept trying to persuade me to do the dialysis, but I just smiled, took the potent painkiller from his hand, and swallowed it. As a doctor, I knew that once the snake venom spread, not even a miracle could save me. I had at most two days left. I headed to the VIP ward and pushed the door open. A glass of water came flying at me. My mother, Helena Powell, was the one who threw it. "How dare you come back?" she barked.
