And the peak of her fear dawned on her when the priest said, "Should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace." She and Gavin looked over the audience while the others also looked around, wondering if anyone would be standing and claim their objection to the wedding. The silence was deafening for Shantala, most especially when her gaze settled on Hyperion who was staring back at her. She was about to look away, but then, everyone's gaze focused on him when he stood from his seat. "Please, no, no. Let me be happy for once, Hyperion," she silently begged, her hands going cold, terrified that Hyperion would o

The atmosphere was serene, almost magical, until the officiant's words shattered the quiet: “If there’s anyone who doesn’t want this union to happen, speak now or hold your peace forever.” A tense silence fell over the room as everyone held their breath, glancing around to see if anyone would dare to object. Just as the ceremony was about to proceed, a hand shot up from the audience.

I can feel her trembling and somewhat shy touch, as she puts the ring on one of my fingers, Victoria looks really scared. "If anyone objects, let him speak now or forever hold his peace," says the pastor. We are in the home stretch of this antics, and although I thought everything would be fine and that no one would open their mouths, on the part of Victoria's family there is a slight commotion and a bit of a ruckus, and although I look in that direction confused, I can't identify what is going on, only seeing how Victoria's father rushes and pulls a person out of the church. And although all of us present to notice the same thing, as in the end nothing could be said about it, the wedding pr

He talked about the importance of love and commitment, and how it was an honor to be asked to officiate the wedding. Then it was time for us to exchange our vows. We had written our own vows, and they were so heartfelt and beautiful. Though I wasn’t sure if Nek meant his vows, I meant every part of mine; I was ready to give our marriage a chance if Nek was willing. But as discussed Nek isn’t interested and I understood. “Does anyone have an objection to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace” Father John asks, I hold my breath as I look around. No one objects, I let out the breath I was holding, feeling relieved that no one objected.

'she thinks I like her,' Now let us humbly invoke God's blessing upon this bride and groom, that in his kindness he may favor with his help those on whom he has bestowed the Sacrament of Matrimony.” "Is there anyone that objects to this union, if so then speak now or forever hold your peace?" The priest said and everyone turned around to check if there's anyone objecting to our union. 'I wish Rebecca would come right now and object to this stupid thing called wedding. I told this girl to tell her father to call off the wedding but she didn't. I can't wait to torture her.'

The officiant, a high ranking bishop flown in specifically for the ceremony, stepped forward, opening his leather-bound book. "We are gathered here today to witness the unbreakable union of Lucian Sterling and Zara Vance," the bishop's voice carried over the sound of the crashing ocean waves. "If anyone here has cause to object to this marriage, let them speak now, or forever hold their peace." It was a completely standard formality. Nobody at a billionaire wedding actually objected. Lucian was already leaning in, his eyes locked on Zara's lips. "I object." The voice didn't come from the crowd. It came from the microphone system.

I know my family won’t because they all know what is at stake, so yeah. “Speak now, or forever hold your peace,” The priest repeats himself, and Mitch chuckles lowly. He knows no one is going to do so. Right when I give up hope and as the priest is about to continue the ceremony, someone steps forward between the first few rows in the back of the room. “I object,” The man says as he boldly but smoothly raises his hand. Murmurs overtake the room and Mitch laughs in disbelief as if someone just told him a joke.

“And if anyone has any reason as to why these two should not be joined together in holy matrimony…speak now or forever hold your peace ,” My eyes slowly glanced at my two friends as they both silently stood right by my side with their lips tightly sealed and no expressions on their faces. I nodded my head at them just as we made eye contact in order to make sure that everything was still ok with the plan and they didn’t feel the need to speak their minds. My eyes then quickly turned and focused on the one woman who I know for a fact objects to the wedding. It seemed like we all had the same idea as our eyes zeroed in on Luna Zelda Hayes.

He nodded his head slightly with an almost glowing warmth reflecting from those baby blue eyes of his. The preacher smiled at her from behind him. Brea reached out and grasped his warm fingers as he tugged her up and stood her next to him. Brea fought off the feeling that she was gonna faint. NO! You CANNOT do that! Get through this and marry him, for Corn’s sake! Faint later when you are on your honeymoon as Mrs. Cole Kincade. She took a deep breath and tried to focus on what the preacher was saying. “…If anyone gathered here has any objections, speak now or forever hold your peace—” “I OBJECT!” A voice shouted.

The priest clears his throat before he speaks, “If anyone has any reason why these two should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace.” I let out the tiniest breath of relief, knowing...just knowing that no one’s going to say anything. No one was there as a witness, it was just us, him and I and the priest But then, like something out of a bad movie, it happens. “I object.” The words came right into the room, sharp and cold. My heart stutters in my chest as we turned to look at the familiar voice that had spoken. There she is. A blonde. Short black dress that screams trouble, Tina.
