"Ms. Charter, do you take Mr. Quigley to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health..." Amidst the gaze of the crowd, the priest began to speak slowly, heightening the atmosphere to its peak. However, something unexpected happened! As the priest was about to finish his reading, a guest in the crowd unexpectedly interjected, "I oppose this wedding!" The declaration disrupted the church's tranquility, like a rock disturbing a still pond. All attention, including that of Summer and James, shifted to the person who had spoken. To their surprise, the objector was a man clad in a black and wh

So silent you’d hear the hair of a dog hit the floor if you listened carefully. I closed my eyes, realizing that was the last thing the priest had to say before exchanging I do’s. I waited for something - anything - to happen with bated breath. I looked at Ethan, but he was watching someone out in the crowd. Suddenly, Mars stood up from the back of the church. “I object to this marriage!” He shouted.

As the officiant was giving his speeches, Lucas grabbed my hand, squeezing it in assurance, and I looked up at him, giving him a small smile. I got this. Compared to what Elias and Violet did to me, this was nothing. "Since there's no objection. I will proceed with..." “I object!” I yelled, getting to my feet. Gasps echoed around the venue. I could feel all eyes turn toward me as I slowly walked towards the altar. Elias glanced at me with wide eyes while Violet’s face turned pale as if she had been drained of all blood. “May I ask who you are and why you object to this wedding?” The officiant asked, clearly shaken by the interruption. He must have been secretly asking himself who the hell ha

Pleading in my heart that I wouldn't die of a heart attack on my wedding day. I knew one thing was certain. It was either it all went down in flames or I was saved. The dreaded question was asked. "If anyone can show a just cause why this couple cannot lawfully be joined in matrimony, let them speak now or forever hold their peace." I froze, the clock ticked a little slower than usual. We waited for a few seconds and just when I was about to heave a sigh of relief, someone spoke up. "I object"

he echoed back with a smile. We stood before Father Ramos, my hands safely tucked in Dante’s as he slid the ring unto my finger and just as Father Ramos went through the usual chant of anyone objecting the wedding, I held my breath silently because I knew there were at least two people who could object to this wedding, but I held my breath still waiting for the moment to pass and just when I thought it was over and at the final second, a loud feminine voice cut through. “Me – I object this wedding”

Soon, the priest reached the crucial part, his voice rose in a familiar phrase, and Mia lifted her gaze to Williams' face again, who in response gave her a sweet smile making her forget her nervousness for a moment as she blushed red. "If anyone present here has any reason to object to this union, let them speak now or forever remain silent," the priest announced. The crowd in relief, turned their attention back to the priest who was about to continue not having heard any objection. Mia turned back to Williams with a smile, but the smile was soon replaced slowly with

He's enjoying watching her suffer. After a few seconds, Ryan stared back at the priest giving them a deadly stare and the priest gulped and cleared his throat, trying to ignore the death stares coming from the guests who are starring at him, he cleared his throat once again "Very well, since there isn't any objections, I hereby declare this marriage and this union to be offic....... I didn't want him to throw a fit before the marriage deals are closed. “ Alright,” dad nodded his head. “ I chose to stay quiet all this while doesn't mean I agree with anything going on,” Miro slammed his glass cup on the table. “ Miro,” Liliana called out in a barely audible voice. I had expected him to talk all along but seeing as he hadn't said a word, I assumed it was for the best and that he simply didn't care if anything happened to me. “ I object this wedding,” Miro stood his ground, glaring at me.

For the past two years, I had been living at my parents' house, and I had been considering whether to sell the apartment. However, due to the sharp decline in property prices, selling would have meant a significant loss, so I dropped the idea. Now, someone was telling me that someone was getting married in my apartment? "You must be mistaken. I don't even have a boyfriend, how could I be getting married?" There was a deep sigh on the other end of the line, as if she was suppressing her anger. She probably thought I was stubbornly denying the truth. "Alright, Miss Walker, I won't argue with you anymore. I'll send you the security footage from the wedding procession, as well as the hallway and
