But I found a spark of defiance, and a low chuckle escaped my lips.
"I think you should be the one saying your last prayer," I said, my eyes flicking to Lucas, who was poised, ready to strike.
Ethan's eyebrows shot up, confusion etched on his face.
"What do you mean?" he asked, his gaze darting around, but it was too late. Lucas had already struck, his blow landing squarely on Ethan's head.
Ethan winced, clutching his head as he stumbled forward, before crashing to the ground.
