He crouched in front of me and pulled my hair. “I’m talking to you!” He growled into my ears and I forced myself to whimper “I’m sorry” again. If not for the fact I was still breathing, I would have believed I was dead. I thought I was dead. He was going to do the same thing the previous man had almost done to me.
