Why Did Garp Let Ace Die Novels & Stories

They were all armed. Sparrow grinned at me, eyes glinting with malice. Without a word, he raised his gun and pointed it at Ace. “Any last words, Knight?” His smirk widened. Ace stared at me, resignation written all over his battered face. Then he shut his eye, surrendering to his fate. Sparrow shrugged. “No? Alright then.” The shot echoed like a crack of thunder. A scream tore from my throat as blood sprayed across the room. I froze, eyes wide, as my father’s head slumped, lifeless.

But he didn't and just motioned me to start. Ace sighed impatiently, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath before exhaling slowly. "So, what do I need to know?" With that, I walked toward Ace and touched him in the chest. Through our minds, I showed him what happened. Everything. "What the fuck, Beta?!" Ace yelled upon absorbing all the information I imparted. He was about to strike Matt, but Mr. Hareya quickly caught hold of his arm. "Ace? I understand your outburst, but please try to set aside."

“I think it’s time that I take you to see him. I was going to wait until after your birthday, but I seriously think that you need closure more than anything right now.” “Does that mean Ace is dead?” Ele whispers as she hugs me from behind, stroking my hair tenderly. “Yeah… Ace Ripley is dead.” I hear him swallowing thickly, and I just manage to catch the underlay of distress and anguish in the tone of his voice.

Even the shadows did not stir. Ace's eyes widened. His mouth opened in a soundless effort to speak, and then shut again. He looked at the knife, and then at Seraya. The anger in his eyes was replaced by something else — perhaps sorrow, or regret. "Seraya…" he whispered softly, outstretched hand shaking. "I… I just didn't want you to stay." One tear flowed down Seraya's cheek. Her voice crumbled as she whispered, "I know." Rafe pulled the sword loose. Ace dropped, his body crumbling away into the tainted magic's dark powder. In a heartbeat, he was dead.

He showed no sympathy, I could only see one thing he wanted; revenge. I contemplated stepping off the edge but Ace's offer was incredibly tempted. I didn't have the heart to kill anyone, I didn't. Something turned off like a switch. I couldn't feel anything. I didn't feel sad about Avery's murder, or about being abandoned. I just let go. I stared at Ace and he saw right through me. He knew any sympathy I had for the world was gone. Once they took Avery, I was taken too. "We'll not only kill Leo Accardi, but his entire gang of desperate, fucked up, bastards." Ace nodded, as I stepped down from the edge.

he startles as his eyes glitter in tears, his body turning all black. “Please... Forgive her... I... I... K..now... It's very hard, but please... Forgive her. Don't kill her... Please give her any other punishment.” with that being said he gave up, his body turning into Aches, while Ace felt his heart stiffens in so much pain, while Empress Ella kept wailing with her much pain in her eyes. Without looking at her Ace instructed. It hurts him that Alfred can't even be given a befitting burial.

Boss " Of course my pet , has the target been neutralized? Black Ace" Absolutely. I made a perfect head shot. Boss " I know you'd do a great job. Black Ace" So does this mean I get a wish? Boss " Of course, what do you want? Black Ace" Right now I would love to kill Diamond. He called me crazy. Boss " He did, huh? Can't you let him go? Black Ace" Uh-uh.. I want him dead. Boss " Alright then, do as you wish. Black Ace" Oh thank you daddy.

the killer gasped. “I said you were useful,” Ace replied. “I didn’t say you were forgiven.” In one blurred motion, Ace hauled the man up and drove him headfirst into the corner of the heavy oak nightstand. The impact was wet and final. The killer’s body went limp instantly, sliding to the floor like a sack of grain. Ace straightened up, barely breathing hard. He glanced at the knife still trembling in my hand, then at my face. “Stay here. I’m going to the docks.”

I needed to make sure they were safe, and I needed to kill whoever did this. I have to find them quickly before anything happens to them! I put the car into gear and floored the accelerator, leaving the church behind. ------------ -Ace’s POV- I opened my eyes very slowly, keeping my breathing shallow and even. I saw that the guards were no longer in the room with me. To be honest, I had been awake for a long time. I was just pretending to be asleep so that the bad men would think I was not a threat. I wanted them to think I was just a helpless, scared child who had fainted from the drugs they used.

*Vincenzo Ace.* I sensed it. The fear of impending danger. It was an intuition on my part. I got the information that Mitchell died. Whoever pulled that fucking trigger had cleared all evidence of their horrible acts—had silenced the only mouth that could speak to expose their ferocious plans, and at the same time, had presented to me that they were around, lurking in the shadows waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
