“You’ll survive.” Grammy slammed her palm against the table, cutting through the banter. “Listen. This fight will not be won by species. It will be won by unity. A dragon cannot hold without a witch’s ward. A vampire cannot move in sunlight without a wolf to guard his back. You will mingle. You will fight as one. Or you will die as many.” The tent went quiet again, the weight of her words pressing into every chest. Kael, perched on Serenya’s knee, tilted his head. “That’s what W.I.L.D. means,” he piped up. “We all fight together. We all win together.”

“No you're not Azarael's dog, you're the daughter of Lilly Agatha Sinora, the seventh keeper of the Thestryn valley—” “—I hate that name!” “But you're tied to it.” “No,” Violet frowned, “I am not, not unless Lilly Agatha Sinora lives.” “Even if she live not, she had a name many remember, and she has a child who is called Violet.” A glow appeared in Violet's eyes and she said, “What if Violet disappears?” Piggy shrugged before going to sit on the furniture he sat on earlier, “Its impossible, even if you change your name, your hair colour won't change I'll still call you Violet.”

Shame flickered across his face, but his stance remained firm. I gritted my teeth and pulled back the bowstring once more. I didn't care about the child in her womb. Call me heartless, call me cruel—revenge was the only thing I had left. Then Griffith shouted, "The newly mined ironstone from Avalora Pack!" I stilled.

The festival had reaffirmed her commitment to the people and served as a catalyst for positive change. Lady Victoria, with her unwavering dedication and wisdom, continued to be a guiding force. Her role extended beyond the borders of the kingdom, as her reputation as a wise witch and counselor spread far and wide. Blood welled, dark and rich. "Are you willing to die tonight, Heriberto? Because I am." The warlock's expression twisted into something ugly. "You will die regardless." "Maybe." Vida smiled, cold and fierce. "But I'm taking your power with me." She slammed her bleeding palm down on the amethyst crystal that one of the witches had placed at the circle's center. The stone flared purple-white, so bright I had to look away. "BEGIN!" Vida commanded.

Annaliese couldn't take her eyes off the beast as it devours its meal. "Vaewolf", Marian and Annaliese answer together. When Annaliese read the history of the pack before her Luna ceremony, it was mentioned that a vaewolf hasn't been seen in thousands of years. It is an abomination, something vile. A vaewolf is said to be more powerful than a werewolf or a vampire. It is as dangerous as it is powerful. "Do you understand why you're here now, Luna?". "To create a powerful Vaewolf, you would need the blood of a pure and royal werewolf, the blood of a pure and royal vampire and one of the bodies of the donors", Annaliese recites a paragraph quietly.

The same wolfman twisted my arms behind me, and I grunted, “Oh hell no.” Lifting me to his face, he asked me about what I had said, and I hissed. Then I asked, curiously, why he was being so rough, which gave him pause. “Considering that you are a Vaewolf, female, I highly doubt that this even fazes you,” he asserted as I continued to stare into his dark, unmoving eyes. Refusing to blink, I raised my black brow and the corner of my mouth at him for not faltering as well.

Where something ancient awakened. Vaelthryx. Even thinking about that name made the chamber feel heavier somehow. The witch’s smile widened faintly. “The ancient fire entity has fully awakened now.” I folded my arms carefully. “And that benefits us how?” The witch looked directly into my eyes. “Because chaos weakens divine balance.” Understanding slowly settled into place. A dangerous grin touched my mouth. “You intend to use Vaelthryx.” “I intend to use everything.” The flames around the chamber suddenly rose higher. Violently.
