Kaldar wakes up after his impurification, now reborn as a vampire, and having no memories of his past except for the fact that he was a dying cancer patient. He soon learns that he was reborn not only as a vampire but as a rare alpha-specie called the Supremes, which are more highly advanced than the ordinary vampire.
