The wind whispered against the glass as if attempting to bring him some consolation or answers. He clutched the bus ticket in his hands, feeling the crumpled paper between his fingers. With a sigh, he took a pen from his backpack and began scribbling on the back, listing the pros and cons of his decision. Each stroke on the paper felt like an internal struggle between his heart and his mind.

- Chapter 24: No & Thoughts - Darius sat in his chair, still not knowing what to write; it was as if he had all the words but couldn’t put them into words. It was choosing to wake up, even when the air still smelled like yesterday. She’d been writing again not for work, not for anyone just for herself. Pieces of thoughts scribbled in her notebook: half-formed sentences, confessions that weren’t meant to be sent anywhere. “Some endings don’t arrive like storms,” she wrote one night. “Some just fade, like dusk surrendering to night gentle, inevitable.” She took a sip of her tea, watching a leaf swirl at the surface before sinking.
