Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

It was as though everything she had consumed had been devoured by the child. Seeing her ruddy complexion, put Jason’s mind at ease. He walked over and glanced at the book on her lap. "Still love reading, don't you?" He thought she had outgrown that stage. Zoey felt a little embarrassed. In junior high, she too succumbed to the temptations of trends and fell into the habit of secretly reading bestselling novels. There were tomb-raiding ones, but also fantasy and sweet stories of unrequited love being realized. In fact, she hadn't read much in recent years. She had only picked up a novel to pass the time because she didn’t dare spend too much time on her phone when she got too bored.

I was busy reading some of the book titles: The Lord Of The Rings, The Hunger Games, The Harry Potter Series, The Lightening Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympian), The Last Mission.... Wow, he has good taste in books. I can't believe he actually read these. I began laughing to myself. "What's so funny?" Tyler asked. I turned to look at him, still laughing. "It's just so hard to imagine a boy like you reading. If I hadn't seen it myself, I wouldn't have believed it." I commented.

She rattled on about how she loves to read books especially love stories and how happy she’s to get a new friend who happens to share the same hobby with her. I don’t fancy love stories because I can easily predict what’s gonna happen next like who wouldn’t? Besides, it’s kind of boring to read the same plot repeatedly; boy meeting the girl, girl meeting the boy, starting from simple infatuation to attraction, then one of’em will confess, and BAM! They start dating and blah blah blah. It’s predictable. I’d rather read genres like adventure, action, crime, thriller, fantasy, etc., where things’re not much predictable plus you’ve to use your brain. At least you can learn something new. “Here w

By the time Momma passed I was married with a little one on the way, so my chance for college had passed, too. But I never stopped reading. Got me a nice little library out back, filled with all sorts of books crammed on bookshelves made by my own two hands. Books like Tom Sawyer, Edgar Allen Poe stories, Huck Finn and The King in Yellow, (that last one I don’t read much cause it always gives me strange dreams), some old mysteries, a clutch of Lovecraft’s books (they hurt my head, too, so I don’t read them much neither), my Hardy Boys books from growing up, and a whole bunch of newer ones by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. Jane hadn't heard of the book until she was in high school. "How long was it?" For some reason, Jane had to know. "I don't remember. Three hundred, four hundred pages. And sad. It's the saddest book I ever read." "A Tale of Two Cities is sad, too." Were all long books sad? You'd think that after someone had read four hundred pages, the least he or she'd deserve was a happy ending. "Do you have it here? The Yearling?" "No. It was from the library. I spent the entire morning at the library, so engrossed in reading "the fault in our stars," that I didn't know it was almost afternoon, and I even ate my lunch here since Amy, who is the same age as my mother, look after me. Like my mother, I mean my parents are divorced now and each has their own family, so I only live with my maternal grandma and grandpa who adore me.
