Mine Alone: you belong to me

Mine Alone: you belong to me

Not unless they're high up enough to fire Damien Vane. "No. When's Delaware back in the office?" "Monday." He hung up. So Delaware was the CEO of Software Solutions. Tarken was impressed. He’d read about Delaware’s rise to riches in Business Review Weekly. The article had said he was one of the richest men in Australia and he'd got there by sheer hard work and impressive financial skill. There was no doubt about it, Delaware was an investment genius and not someone to be crossed. The guy was loaded. Good. Tarken should have no trouble getting Vane fired if he started a few rumors about him. Something nasty about the salesman’s sexual habits.

My Fabulous Girl Boss

My Fabulous Girl Boss

The Hamiltons might not have everything in their house, but there was one thing that they didn't lack—yards and villas. Both of them were given a courtyard to rest in. As for Delmont, he was reorganizing the Hamiltons while settling some miscellaneous matters. The more he went through the stuff, the more disappointed he was with Zephyr. When he heard that Zephyr had nearly killed Zachary, he couldn’t hold himself anymore and slapped Zephyr across his face, causing him to lose a few teeth. Zachary was the one who had saved his life in the past. He would never allow the people from the Hamiltons to disrespect him.

Donald Jackson
What's up with this author. It's been almost a month since it has been updated. This is a good book. Don't just leave everyone hanging. This is the reason I will delete this app after I finish reading. You pay and get the bonuses, but they expire before you can finish the book. This is unacceptable

I love this book so far and I can’t stop reading it. In addition, it made me continuously unlock every chapter because the story isn’t dragging. Most of the time I skip few chapters because the story is predictable but not this book. The grammar is okay so it’s not disturbing to read.

The Chipmaker's Revenge

The Chipmaker's Revenge

The irony was almost laughable. "No thanks." I met his eyes. "You were the one who pushed me out of Dalton. I signed the termination agreement in front of the whole company. You yourself said the Vespere chip belongs to Dalton. Now that it's failing, it's your responsibility to fix it. I have no obligation to bail you out." Zachary went pale. He opened his mouth to say something, but I didn't give him the chance. I sidestepped them and walked into the company grounds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Schenck v. United States is one of those landmark cases that makes you really think about the balance between national security and individual rights. The case revolved around Charles Schenck, a socialist who distributed pamphlets urging resistance to the draft during World War I. The government charged him under the Espionage Act, arguing his actions posed a 'clear and present danger' to the war effort. The Supreme Court agreed, setting a precedent that free speech isn’t absolute—if it risks substantial harm, it can be restricted.

What fascinates me is how this ruling reflects the tension in democracy. On one hand, free speech is foundational; on the other, collective safety matters. Justice Holmes’ famous 'fire in a crowded theater' analogy really drives home the idea that context matters. Later cases like Brandenburg v. Ohio refined this, but Schenck remains a cornerstone for understanding when limits might be justified. It’s a reminder that rights evolve with society’s needs, and that’s something worth debating over coffee with friends.
