I'm terrified," I said, looking at my twin for a response, but he appeared to be thinking the same thing. She's been here for four months and hasn't noticed anything about the other maids, who are our previous maids who we got bored with and killed. We're vampires; it's only natural for us purebloods to kill humans because they're nothing more than food containers for us.

"They have caught up to us! Those hunters! They are here" Just as Zane's eyes widened , the room filled up with a green gas and the four of them went down coughing. The last Zane saw before passing out was one masked man staring at him . Then he blacked out.

If Holly had any questions on why no one tried to stop her, it was all explained when she reached the outside of the building. Skeletons, more than she could ever count, swarmed over it.
