Jamie was all alone in this world again, Lucien hasn't been home for two days. He expected that but it still hurts.

His cravings have gotten so strong but it was awkward to mention what he really needs or want though Lucien gave orders that Jamie shouldn't be denied anything in the house but be treated like their boss.

Jamie stood In Front of the mirror, stark naked. He was quietly observing his stomach, it felt unreal to him that a living being is growing in his stomach.

Still engrossed in his observation. Lucien wheeled in to see this scene, he sat there completely bewitched.

Jamie noticed the change in the room temperature, he looked up to see Lucien reflection and he turned around to see Lucien staring at his body. So embarrassed he hurriedly put on his bathrobe covering his body.

“Come!," Lucien called, Jamie hesitated at first but moved over

" Can I see your baby bump?” Lucien asked, his blue eyes so mesmerizing.

" Just a minute,” Jamie responded and rushed to put on his brief before revealing his stomach, Lucien cold hand caressed his stomach and Jamie stiffened.

It was the first time someone was doing that and he wasn't used to it.

" You haven't been home, are you avoiding me because I'm pregnant?” Jamie couldn't help asking, his mood swings are getting worse day by day.

" Why should I avoid you, I've been busy,” Lucien replied, resting his head on Jamie's stomach.

Lucien action felt strange, it was as if he is the father but how can it be?, Jamie cleared those strange thoughts from his head

“if you see the man that impregnated you, what will you do?" Lucien asked, raising his head to see Jamie's facial expressions.

" I won't blame him, last thing I remembered was that I was willingly so we both are at fault,” Jamie replied then looked at Lucien strangely

" What?” Lucien asked

" This isn't right, you were supposed to be a heartless, mysterious and bad man but here you are initiating a conversation with me, are your reputation or fame outside over hyped?” Jamie asked confused covering his stomach but still close to him

That question took Lucien by surprise and he couldn't answer why, though he has never acted like this before but it rhymed so perfectly that someone else could guess that they were familiar with each other.

A knock interrupted them.

Lucien's expression stiffened before returning to his usual cold and distance relationship, his aura dangerous.

“Don't come out, no matter what you hear," Lucien warned, his voice a little stern but filled with undeniable concern

Those constant warnings piqued Jamie's interest, what's this? What's happening, many strange rules? Are the rumours true that he is a mysterious killer?” What is he hiding in the west wing building?Why can't I come in?”

Jamie doubted if there was something dangerous in this house, carefully opening the door and taking a peek. Jamie quietly went down to the hall. He could hear words but it wasn't clear enough so he had to move closer but he kept stopping at every interval.

A dangerous, dark murdering gaze pierced into him from a dark room there, Jamie held his stomach, his whole being struck with fear, sweat trickling down his body

“Jamie! Jamie!," Lucien called drawing him from trance

Immediately Jamie laid his eyes on Lucien, he gasped, Lucien wheeled closer dragging Lucien into his embrace

Lucien stilled at first but relaxed later on, a sharp devilious and warning glare was thrown to the culprit who had already taken back his aura in fear of not angering his boss, “sir Lucien"

Jamie jerked up instantly and rushed to the bathroom with Lucien wheeling after him in concern

Jamie wretched and gagged, Lucien slowly massaged his back while handing water to him.

“Are you okay?" Lucien asked but Jami ignored him and walked away.

Lucien was surprised, did he do something wrong, maybe Jamie wanted to be left alone he thought and wheeled away, giving Jamie privacy while swallowing the scolding he previously wanted to unleash on him because of his stubbornness.

Jamie watched Lucien wheel away, his back distant and lonely, he knew Lucien may have misunderstood but he couldn't explain his problems and worries.

Everyone that has approached him acting all nice and considerate were the betrayers and liars. Though Lucien is his husband but Lucien is being kind and concern about him and that frightened him, the fact that Lucien wasn't the one that impregnated him but kept considering him and his unborn child feels strange and as frail and fragile an omega heart are, it won't be surprising if he starts falling in love with Lucien and that may bring sadness, disappointment and heartbreak to him which he doesn't want after Luke's rejection.

“Lucien I am not angry, I'm just scared," Jamie's weak voice mumbled before Lucien could close the door after him. Lucien looked at Jamie with an unreadable expression, Lucien had already guessed Jamie's thought correctly without needing to read his mind

" Is the baby stressing you?” Lucien asked, wheeling back to the bed, he limply raised his body and laid beside Jamie.

Unlike before Jamie didn't stiffened his already got used to Lucien touchy character.

“Kind of," Jamie replied touching his stomach, Lucien rubbed Jamie's stomach a little too.

Lucien drew his head closer to Jamie's earlobe, he playfully nibbed it.

Jamie was startled and pushed Lucien away, he was so embarrassed and shy that tomatoes were fairer compared to how red his face turned to.

Lucien smirked playfully, staring at Jamie's embarrassed face

“You should really know how to listen to warnings, curiosity kills the cat," Lucien warned, Jamie looked at him and sighed

“I'm sorry,"

Jamie's phone rang and he stood up to pick it, escaping Lucien's bosom and walking into the balcony

“Hello!"

“Yo brother, you're still alive?" Felix asked totally surprised, Jamie hissed annoyed

“What is it?"

“Am just playing, don't be mad," Felix teased, Jamie cut the call because he could guess why Felix called him and he'll deal with it later

Jamie walked into the room, he dropped his phone on the table stand and went to the bathroom.

His phone rang once again.

“Jamie a call," Lucien called out, “okay," Jamie responded. Lucien look over the caller id

" Luke”

Lucien squinted his eyes, his jaw tightened and his expression darkened
