SARA’S POV

I washed my face feeling disgusted by what Jade did. She is not a child and yet she acted like one. Goddess, I don’t have a child yet or at least, I don’t have a child that young to be spitting on my face.

I gently placed the plate on the floor and got up. Kane glared at me, but I pretended not to see it. I was not about to entertain him while I have food on my face.

I walked out the door running into Logan, he looked at me with a raised eyebrow and I just pointed inside. “You don’t have to do this.” As if I had a choice.

I walked away leaving him there, oh how I wished my life was different. Maybe if my parents had not died, I would have had a different life than this one.

“Then you wouldn’t have met Lilly.” Rose reminded me, she was right. Through everything I have been through there have been some good moments and good people.

Nat for instance and Lilly. Now, I can’t Imagine my life without either of them and it’s clear that I would go through hell for both of them.
