After a great night, an equally splendid morning followed. I awoke to the delightful smell of freshly brewed coffee and inviting pancakes. All I needed was a fiery kiss from Mike, except the bed was empty. The smell coming from the kitchen showed me the mood he had woken up in. It was clear we were both going to have a great day.
I had woken up with an insatiable urge to get to work. I felt it was time to start the new book everyone was talking about. There was certainly no time to waste, so I jumped out of bed. After all, whoever said the night was a good candlestick was right.
A quick shower and as light an outfit as possible were perfect for the start of the day. All that was missing was breakfast, which was expected to be a delicious one, and then diving into the realm of love stories. That was where I always escaped when I was sad or when I was happy.
