Aria’s POV

I was taken out of the small prison after what felt like eternity and led to the council room. Where I knew my case would be judged and then appropriate punishment issued. A punishment I knew I didn't deserve because I had just found my mate and I believed my reaction was normal.

The council room included a small group of pack members including Lucas and  my sister, who threw  me a look of disgust and it hurt me deeply because she was the reason I suffered and was exiled for five years.

Now, All I wanted was to get the protection from my mate but I was arrested because of that.

I stood in the corner of the room while I waited for their verdict.

“You have been brought here for laying your hands on the alpha’s son and making a false declaration.” The council judge read out.

“It isn’t false. I felt the… connection” I said in a bid to defend myself and darted my eyes to Lucas for a few seconds.

“You still have the audacity to speak”

“Just keep shut and face your punishment!”

Those words came from the other pack members who were present. The council judge picked up the booklet to continue reading.

“Wait!” Lucas loud voice was heard, “I have a better suggestion”

“You may speak, sir” the council judge granted him permission.

“Since you strongly claim to be my master,” he said, fixing his eyes on me and taking a step forward, “I would present you with a challenge, which grants you two options. The challenge is called The Run” Lucas stated and these earned gasps from the pack members because they all knew how risky this challenge was.

Lucas stared at them to silence them, “So,

If you can survive until dawn while my best warriors hunt you with wolfsbane-tipped arrows, you will earn the right to speak and stay in the pack. If you fail, your death will be considered justice.” He declared.

I gasped because wolfsbane was a dangerous poison capable of killing werewolves in the blink of an eye. I had half the mind to reject the offer but it was overpowered by a stronger desire to get what she wanted.

“I accept,” I said firmly. Lucas had an expression of shock on his face and I knew he didn’t expect me to agree.

“Alright. Tonight, your fate shall be determined”

The judge declared.

****************

The sun set and darkness soon fell. I knew The pack members were looking forward to the outcome of the challenge. It had been a while since they had someone accept such a challenge.

I was prepared and Led to the entrance of the forest. “I would be kind enough to give you a five seconds head start but after that, there would be no mercy” Lucas said, then ordered his guards to wait five seconds before proceeding with the attack.

I felt a shiver of fear run down my spine but I knew I had a chance of surviving because of my knowledge of werewolf medicine and the skills I had developed in the years I was away.

The trumpet sound signified the start of the challenge and I immediately darted into the forest, expertly weaving through the large forest trees. And in a short while I was suddenly aware of the warriors’ presence behind me. They started shooting the wolfsbane arrow as they got closer and I managed to dodge them by swerving and ducking when necessary.

There was no wolfsbane arrow for a while and I couldn’t feel their presence behind me but I continued running through the deep forest. I was beginning to get out of breath so I slowed my pace but I still kept on running.

At that moment I felt the tip of the wolfsbane arrow graze my shoulder and I was distracted by the piercing pain from the arrow and didn’t see the huge cliff in front of me, so I stumbled and fell.

I remained on the ground, with blood seeping out of the cut on my shoulder. I groaned in pain but then I remembered I had to be quiet to give the impression that I was dead.

So I laid there on the ground clutching my shoulders and praying they would leave as soon as possible so I could heal myself.

“She fell off that cliff. There is no way she would survive that” I heard a voice say and there were other voices that agreed with the speaker. A few moments later, I heard footsteps as they made their way away from the cliff. Soon, everywhere was silent.

I shifted into my wolf form because that is the only way I would be able to heal myself and I was just about to begin when I caught sight of a silver dagger sticking out of somewhere.

I moved closer and saw that it was on another wolf. And it appeared to be in pain. As I got closer, I perceived the unique scent that belonged to my mate and I felt a strong attraction towards this wolf.

I realized he was going to die if I did not save him now, so I shifted back to my human form and picked up my shirt, which was the only garment I could find. I threw it on and walked towards him. I groaned as I felt the pain on my shoulder become even worse.

I crouched in front of him and tugged on the dagger gently, trying to get it out of him. I tugged on it gently a few more times before I was successfully able to get it out. And he cried out in pain as he shifted back to his human form.

My eyes fell on his handsome face and I couldn’t hide my surprise.

Aria's POV It's been day since everything that happened and the Brothers have been very busy. So was I. I have been busy trying to help the entire werewolf community around us that were affected by Edgar's schemes. My blood was indeed the only solution that could save the people affected with the sickness. I thought they would need a lot of my blood but they only needed it as a primary ingredients to develop the medicine. It was only a drop that was needed per person. Even though I gave out a lot of blood, and it made me weak for days, I was able to cover up many people that were affected. They were healed immediately. Now I wonder what everyone's perspective of being a red wolf is. Do they still see me as a curse or do they think everything that happened was because of me?Edgar was stripped off his wolf and was banished somewhere he would never escape. He deserved it. As for Lucas and his father, they lost their pack. His father got the same punishment but was made to work as a s

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   Chapter 170

Aria’s POVThey dragged Edgar back like the traitor he was. His clothes were torn, and his face was bruised, but somehow, he still had that smugness in his eyes like he wasn’t scared at all. I stood there, breathing hard, trying to steady the storm inside me. My heart was pounding, not because I was afraid anymore but because I was angry.I walked toward him slowly. My feet felt heavy, but I didn’t stop. He lifted his head when I stopped in front of him, and I saw that disgusting smirk again. He looked at me like this was all just a game, like he hadn’t tried to use me, like he didn’t try to kill my mates.“You think this is over?” he asked with that mocking tone, as if he was still in control. “You’re too soft, Aria. You don’t have what it takes to deal with someone like me.”I didn’t reply. I slapped him. Once. Then again. And again. My hands shook from the force, and I didn’t care how loud it sounded. He didn’t flinch, but I saw the red marks forming across his face, and I welcomed

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   Chapter 169

Aria’s POVI didn’t sleep. The cold stone floor pressed against my back all night. My arms were sore from being tied up, and the silence kept growing louder. I would be a crazy idiot if I was able to sleep in a place like this. Who would be able to sleep when death is knocking on their door? I kept listening for footsteps, for a voice, for anything. But no one came. Maybe they couldn’t find me. Could it be that they got hurt and the weren't going to come for me anymore? I wanted to believe they’d come for me. I really did. But I was starting to lose hope. The door creaked open early the next morning. I didn’t even flinch when two guards entered. Their faces were covered, their grips rough. They dragged me up, my legs numb from sitting too long. I stumbled but didn’t cry out. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction. We moved through long halls, stone and dark, just like before. But this time, the air felt different. It smelled like fire and smoke and something else, something rotten. We

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   Chapter 168

Aria's POV The air was damp. Cold. Suffocating. I could hear the faint echo of footsteps and the distant clink of metal against stone. My wrists ached from the tight ropes and my head was still spinning from the blindfold cutting across my eyes. Every breath I took was filtered through fabric, and all I could smell was the earth. It was wet, moldy, and ancient. We were underground. I didn’t need to see to know that. I could feel it. The air was heavier down here, stale like it hadn’t moved in years. I didn’t speak or scream. I just listened.I counted the turns and the steps. The hands on my arm that shoved me forward every time I slowed. Whoever these people were, they were trained. They didn’t speak a word. Until they stopped walking.A door creaked open ahead of me, thick, old wood judging by the sound. I was shoved forward one last time before the blindfold was ripped from my eyes. And the first thing I saw was darkness. Not literal. The room was lit dimly, with torches mounted a

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   Chapter 167

Aria’s POVThe room was quiet, except for the faint creak of the chair as I shifted again. My palms were clammy. My heart hadn’t stopped beating a little too fast for the past hour. I could still feel the echo of Xeros’s voice in my ears from earlier.“Only if you agree. No one’s forcing you, Aria. But we won’t lie—it’s dangerous.”Dangerous? That word felt like a joke now. My entire life had been dangerous from the start.I sat back and looked at them, Xeros, Alexander, Carlo. All three of them staring at me with guilt and expectation. I let them wait in silence for a moment longer before I spoke. I didn't want them to keep looking at me like this so I had to change my mind. “I’ll do it.”Xeros flinched. “Are you sure?”I nodded once. “But it’s on my terms. You don’t get to lock me in a room again. You don’t get to decide for me behind closed doors. If I’m bait, I’m the one who leads the trap.”At least they needed to let me prove myself that I was worthy of being their Luna. So the

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   Chapter 166

Aria's POVI didn't want to see anyone. I didn’t want to hear anyone either. For hours now, I’d locked myself in the room the brothers gave me well, more like the prison with soft pillows. I didn’t want their food. I didn’t want their care. I didn’t want their lies. There were soft knocks at first. Polite. Careful. They said my name a few times, Xeros, mostly. He always tried to sound calm when he was clearly panicking. I didn’t answer. Eventually, I heard Alexander’s voice. “Aria, open the door. We just want to talk.”I turned my head away and pulled the blanket higher. They could talk to the wall for all I cared. Then came Carlo, and I could hear the irritation in his tone. “You’re being dramatic. At least let us explain.”Explain what? That they were all liars? That I was a walking antidote and they were too much of cowards to admit it?Silence stretched on. I thought they gave up. Until—The door burst open with a loud crack. The handle flew across the floor like it had been punch
