August's POV
I was not able to participate in the meeting because my body failed when we got back to the inn. I'm so tired I don't understand. I woke up not knowing what time it was but it was night. Pearl was with Cayden. The child is quite interested in it and that's okay with me because I'm the only one who takes care of it all the time.
I got up and took a shower because I felt better again. I'm the only one in the room right now, maybe Gen didn't come in so as not to disturb me because he's still talking.
After I showered, I looked for something to wear, but I frowned as I only had one set of clothes left. Enough for tomorrow. Come on, what should I wear to sleep today? I didn't expect that we would be here for a few days. I thought it would just be like 2 days.
"Oh is there a problem?" Gen suddenly asked me if he had already entered.
