Arthur’s POV
I stood there, breathing hard, my body still aching from the last great battle that happened in the palace. My hands clenched into fists, shaking with rage.
“Oliver,” I growled, my voice filled with rage. How could I have not seen this? I knew Garrick had changed, u knew there was something off about him but never did I suspect a false identity.
I glared at him. “Where is Garrick? What have you done to him?”
Oliver smirked and wiped the blood from his lips. “Garrick?” He tilted his head like he was thinking, then grinned. “Oh, you mean your little friend? He fought well, but not well enough, he really thought he could fight me, I honestly gave him a chance to flee.”
My heart pounded as I waited for him to give me the answer I was scared to hear.
Oliver slowly raised his hand and squeezed his fingers together. “I crushed him to pieces, snapped his bones one by one. He begged for his life at the end but it was too late, I don't give two chances, that I learnt from you.”
