Alexander stood for a while as he tried to understand what was going on in front of him. He noticed that Ayla was trying to break freed but the other man was not letting her so he called her name.
"Ayla". He had no expression on his face but Ayla looked startled as she walked towards him and Daniel, didn't know what the great Alexander Michaelson was doing there. "Mr. Alexander, what a pleasure to see you". Daniel said as he moved closer and stretched his hand out for a handshake but Alexander totally ignored his gesture and walked towards Ayla. He was taller than her so he had to look down with his hands in his pocket it perfect composure. "What was that"? He asked, referring to the hug from earlier. Daniel cleared his throat as he came and stood beside Ayla and in front of Alex. Alex raised a brow when he noticed that the man was still there. Daniel placed his hand across Ayla's shoulder and spoke. "I guess you both know each other". Daniel said but Ayla immediately pushed his hand off and moved towards Alex, locking her hand in his. "I guess you know my husband". She said with a faint smile on her face. Daniel was shocked out of his witts he could not believe what Ayla just said and the fact that the might Alex was not saying anything just meant it was true. "Your... You... you're married"? He asked both of them, not knowing who exactly he was going to throw the question at. "Do you have a problem with it"? This time around, it was Alexander who spoke and Daniel simply swallowed. He was having a hard time digesting all that was happening but the couples did not seem to want to keep him company anymore. They were about to leave when Alex moved a bit closer to Daniel and spoke. "Next time Mr Wales... I'd advise you kept your hands off my wife". He said and walked into the restaurant with Ayla. They were all gummy until they got to their chairs. They were looking through the menu when Alexander asked. "Who is he"? He asked but Ayla didn't speak immediately. She didn't know if she was ready to talk about this at all. Alexander did not push as he just calmly waited for her response. "My ex, from a very long time ago". She finally said and Alex said nothing about the topic anymore. It was a lovely dinner, they finished eating and left. When they got home, Malia was waiting for them by the door. "Mommy!!" She yelled as soon as she saw them walk in. "I'm now being ignored". Alexander said while both ladies hugged each other. "Of course not Daddy, I'm only giving Mommy all the love I couldn't give all these years". The little girl said and Ayla replied with a smile. "You're right, only your hug can recharge Mommy, come here, hug me some more". Ayla hugged her even more, making her laugh. Alexander looked at the both of them and a little part of the side of his lips was raised. When Malia was finally asleep, Ayla said she needed to go somewhere really quickly. Taking the bike Celine gave her, she drove off to a hidden club. But now, anyone who saw her would believe she was a man. She had her hair packed up properly and wore a baseball hat. She also wore a manly jacket with a pair of big pants. When she got it, a few ladies looked at her in awe as they could not believe a Man could look this handsome. Ignoring all the stares, she walked into a private room and when she confirmed that the person she was here to see was already seated, she also sat down. "I hope this is worth my time". The man sitting sounded very impatient. He was a manager for an entertainment agency that Celine had linked her up with. Ayla was ready to take up any job so she gladly agreed to see the man. She took off her cap and her hair fell backward as she used her hand to straighten it out. The man who was impatient suddenly could not close his mouth. He was so shocked by her beauty. At first, he could not see her clearly as her cap was covering her face but now, he was simply speechless. "Awesome". He said, still looking at her. "Hello, I'm Ayla, Ayla Will". She said and the man kept nodding like a woodpecker, making Ayla raise a brow. Taking out his card, he spoke. "Uhh... I'm... I'm... Mr Fredrick, I promise to do my best". He said and bowed, making Ayla even more confused. "Huh". She said as she felt the roles had suddenly changed. The man raised his head and looked at her. "Ohh... Ohh what I mean is... I'll do my best to make you the greatest model ever". He said and she simply smiled which made him speechless yet again. It seemed like everything she did impressed him. "Do you mean... I'm hired"? She asked and he laughed nervously. "Nonsense! We are the ones scouting for you. Would you like to work for M.G Entertainment"? He asked and with a smile, she nodded. The man tried to hide his excitement but failed woefully. "I have to go now". Ayla said and the man nodded. "Of course, you can go, I'll give you a call tomorrow". He said and she bowed again. After Ayla left, she drove to a bridge and packed somewhere safe before going towards the cliff of the bridge. "Haa!! The night is so beautiful". She said to herself as she kept looking at the sky. She was wondering and hoping that this was not a dream. Just a few days ago, it felt like her family still had total control over her life no matter how hard she tried but now, it felt like everything had changed completely. She got a dream job she had long forgotten about and now, she is even married to the wealthiest man in the City. With her eyes closed, she sucked in air as she spoke. "I'm never waking up".Alexander said, making his dad turn to look at him again. "What is wrong with you? What do you see in her"?He asked but Alexander seemed to have said all he wanted to say. "You..."He pointed at Alexander."You are blind".He said and angrily, he left. When he finally left, Alexander fixed himself up and picked up his phone, ready to go for another meeting. He had already gotten to the meeting when he saw Ayla's call so he decided he'd call her after the meeting. The meeting didn't take much time so immediately he was done, he returned to his office and called Ayla. It rang for a while before she picked up. "Hi".She said as soon as she picked up. "I missed your call".He said so coldly but calmly. "Uhh..."She didn't even know if she should say what it was she called for anymore. "Well, I just wanted to thank you for the flower and the food cart".She said and he raised a brow. "Flowers"?He asked which made Ayla tilt her head slightly. "Yeah, the flowers that came with
Fredrick was taken aback when he saw her throw it in the trash. "What's wrong? Do you know who sent it"?He asked but she said nothing. Her face had completely changed as she wasn't smiling anymore and she looked extremely cold. "Are you going to say something or not"?Fredrick asked again but soon enough, the makeup artist and dressing crew came in so he had to walk out. Ayla had completely lost the color on her face but luckily for her, the scene for today was supposed to depict her as a clod and angry lady so she was able to play the part pretty well. The scene she was playing today was a scene where she mysteriously woke up on the road where she was shot and began walking like a zombie with bullet holes all over her body. She was able to act her part perfectly and luckily, she finished on time and was able to leave. She didn't go home, instead she went to see Celine at her office. That's right, Celine was a boss at her father's company but of course, even as a boss, she cou
The first day went pretty well and it was finally time to go home. The crew members didn't give Ayla any special treatment, most of them even wished Sasha was the one on set but they didn't give her a hard time either. Everyone did their jobs to their best ability and Ayla could not have asked for anything more. After a long day, Fredrick insisted he took her home but Ayla could not have him knowing where she stayed so she left without him knowing. It was only after she had boarded a cap that she called and told him she had left. By the time Ayla got home, it was already pretty late at night. She was extremely tired so she decided to retire to bed. When she got to the room, it was dark but she didn't need the light to locate the bed. She immediately located the bed and fell asleep as quickly as her head touched the pillow. Acting was fun and all but it was also a lot of work. Some scenes had to be taken over and over again. And it doesn't necessarily have to be your fault, it
Ayla's eyes opened wide she realized the position she was in. Gently, she tried to free herself from his grip but he was just too strong. She tried hard not to wake him up unknown to her, her movements woke him up already. Alexander was so confused to see that she was lying right next to him. He was even more surprised that he slept soundly with someone on the same bed. He noticed she was trying to free herself and he knew things would get even more awkward if he was to wake up now so with his eyes closed, he rolled over to the other side of the bed, automatically freeing Ayla from his grip. Ayla realized she was free and dashed out of the room as quickly as she could. As soon as she was out of the room, Alex sat up, looking at absolutely nothing. "What was that"?He said to himself before looking at the door. He has never been able to sleep with anyone, let alone a woman. He didn't have any issues with women but he didn't want to get entangled in any controversies so he staye
Sasha was still fuming when he got a call from her dad."Hey Daddy".She said and her dad answered. "How is my princess doing"?He asked and she just answered with a "fine".Her dad didn't really have the time for much talk as he had a lot to do so he just went straight to the point. "Anyways, I called you for a reason".He said and Sasha said nothing, waiting for him to continue speaking."I think I got you a nice deal, I'd like for you to join me at a meeting tomorrow afternoon".Her dad said."What deal"?She asked. "I am about to sign a huge deal for the restaurant franchise I'm about to open. I'm meeting a huge investor and he wants to see the model who will be the face of the restaurant. I don't think anyone fits the position more than you do".Sasha didn't want to do it as she felt it was a waste of time and she already had so much on her plate but then, she decided to meet her dad since he hardly ever asks her to do anything for him."Alright Dad, I'll see you tomorrow. Jus
Ayla smiled at the coincidence. The script was well written but the writer was not well known in the industry. It felt like this would probably even be his debut. She looked at the script and knowing she didn't have much of a choice, she agreed to do the drama. "Really? You'll do it"?Fredrick asked and she nodded. "You can't take back your words".He said as he rushed out of the room. When he was gone, Ayla looked at Alex who just sat there quietly. "Why are you here"?She asked and he looked at her for a while before giving out a light sigh. "Are you feeling better"?He asked and she nodded. She was no longer having any funny thoughts towards him so she could speak to him easily. "I tried to get the CCTV camera but it was completely destroyed".He said, making Ayla look at him before she nodded."I should at least expect all this, she won't go down so easily".Ayla said, making Alex look at her. "Who"?He asked and she looked at him before shaking her head. "It's nothing.
