EMY'S POV

I was already nodding before I could even think about it. I guess I would do pretty much anything to not be by myself in that room.

He led me to his own room and I admired how he walked with his head held high even as he smelled of alcohol. I had seen lots of other wolves misbehave and act out of character at just a small sip but the way the smell clung to him, it was obvious he took larger than a sip.

"Here we are!" He swung the door open and stepped aside. "My paradise!"

I tore my eyes from his smiley face and stepped into his room. "Woah!" I muttered with my jaw hanging loose at the bright room that was as large as mine if not larger. The decor in the room had bright colours, so did the walls and even the floor. It looked fluffy here unlike mine that felt like the walls had eyes.

I saw a huge glass at one end with fishes behind it. How he had managed to have a small part of the sea in his room was simply beautiful.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" He asked and I turned to see he was sitting at the edge of the bed with his legs crossed and a light bottle with blue content in his hands. It was half filled. "Women love something fluffy and bright."

I wondered if that included me. How many women had he shown this place? I didn't want to delude myself that I was the first. Clearly, I wasn't. I wonder why I was having this line of thought already.

Focus Emy.

He was probably just being nice to me because of the contract. His part was actually to make me feel everything and right now, I was feeling pretty good about being here.

I wondered if he knew I had a hard time sleeping.

"Do you Uhm... Sleep here all by yourself?"

He took a swing from his drink before he nodded, "Why? You think I can't sleep alone?" He asked with a bright smile on his face.

Maybe it was the drink but that blush was making him look really cute. He was doing more justice to that face despite having two other replicas of it.

I shook my head, "Not that." I glanced around the room again and walked towards the glass where the small fishes were swimming slowly and minding their business.

I tapped the glass softly and watched as they jumped in my direction, swimming away from there to another direction.

Oh! I scared them.

"It's so big," I mumbled. "Don't you get scared of sleeping in this big room all by yourself? When you turn off the lights, you won't know if you're being watched," I nibbled on my bottom lip, pausing to think.

"And then you find out you're being watched but you don't know from what angle. What if your life gets stolen but you don't know because you dozed off, hmm?" I rambled on, mostly speaking out of my own fear.

I was going to have more than enough hard time sleeping in that room. There was definitely something there. Or maybe it was because I grew up sleeping with a large number of people around me. Sometimes in the open where the cold would howl so loudly and you'd have to huddle closer to the next shaking body to get some warmth.

Why was it suddenly so quiet?

I turned to see a frown on his face as he stared at me intensely.

Did he hear what I said? Oh goodness! I just openly called one of the most ruthless Alpha a coward to his hearing-

"What was that?" He asked in a low voice. I felt my heart drop and I staggered back, thinking of how to apologise for my rudeness-

A chill went through me as he suddenly burst out laughing. I watched his shoulder shake tremendously and his eyes water as he laughed.

"Who told you that you're not allowed to be so silly while staying sober?" He wiped the tears away from the corner of his eyes and for a moment, only for a moment, his face fell but he picked it up and wore back his smile.

What was that? I was sure I saw a flash of hurt in those jovial eyes. It was only for a brief second but I saw it.

"You're staring again," he said. "Come have a drink, will you?" He beckoned on me and my legs moved without my permission. "Sit." I dropped down beside him and he chuckled, "You're so obedient like a little puppy," the fascinating tone in his voice told me he didn't hate it.

Everyone liked a good puppy who listened. But 'puppy' was such a beautiful term that I didn't deserve. Everyone else referred to me as a good dog.

'Throw her a bone or two and she'd do anything,' I often heard them say, even to my face.

"Here," he handed me the drink and I accepted with both hands, careful not to drop it. I had no money to pay it back. I would only be beaten half to death.

I brought the drink closer to my nose and I inhaled the sweet coconut and chocolate scent. My mouth watered and I placed the tip on my lips before lifting it carefully-

The harsh taste hit my tongue and I took a mouthful, swallowing immediately because my cheek started to burn.

I blew raspberries, soiling my face and pushing the drink back in his hands. I had been fooled into thinking it would taste as sweet as it smelled.

Hunter laughed softly this time and I felt his hand on my cheek, wiping the corners of my mouth with a distant look on his face.

"You'll get used to it," he said with a distant smile but I shook my head and he chuckled a bit.

I never wanted that thing near me again!

"I've been thinking, how can you tell us apart? What's so different about our faces and our voices?" He stared right into my eyes. His gaze was soft and it wasn't demanding so I felt no pressure.

I had never been questioned or spoken to with such a look that said I actually had to answer and it would be heard.

"They say you have to be able to read everything and everyone to survive," I scratched a nonexistent itch at the back of my head, dropping my gaze to his thighs and pretending to pay attention to how dark his pants were. "Sorry."

"Why are you apologising?" He lifted my chin. "It's a good trait. Having a sharp eye can save you from a lot of things and can help you discern whether or not you should act."

I shook my head, "Oh no. That's not good in the Nightwalker Pack. You have to follow orders to survive. Reading people is just your personal curse because you can't avoid following the orders of a bad person."

"Hmm," his smile returned on his face. "Then I guess you see our contract as an order too, right?"

Surprisingly, I didn't. That was the first time I've had to make a choice for myself and I was still conflicted if I made the right choice.

I chose to live and look at what the package brought; three Alpha's to look after me and treat me like a queen but with a solid question as to why they were in dire need of a Luna, still hanging in the air and what they had installed for me.

"It must be hard following orders with no questions asked," Hunter sighed dreamily and he looked a little tired there.

I wondered if I could ask the questions I really wanted to ask. Alcohol also had a way of making someone spill the truth but something warned me against trying it with this Alpha. He seemed pretty much himself.

"Just like you're doing right here with us."

I blinked out of my shock and stared at his smiling face.

I could tell he knew something but could I really ask? What were the chances that he would tell me?

I had been taught that a wolfless Omega like myself was insignificant and even my voice was because the moon goddess wanted to hear me grunt my frustration.

It was best I kept my questions to myself. I had no plans to upset him.

Hunter fell back on the bed and after a while, I did the same, lying on my side and staring at him with fascinating eyes.

"Hopefully," he turned to me and offered his sweet smile again, this time, it didn't reach his eyes. "Hopefully, it doesn't turn out bad."

EMY’S POvSandwiched between my mates, it was impossible to escape without one of them grabbing me quickly and pinning me back on the bed. His eyes as he looked at me were filled with so much softness. I almost melted, especially when I noticed the bags under his eyes. I turned to the others and saw they suffered the same fate.Good. At least it was good to know that I didn't suffer alone."Where are you running off to, love?" His voice was equally soft and it went straight to my chest to try and melt the ice I had placed on my heart. The foundation threatened to shake but I clenched my fist and turned my face away but whichever direction I turned to, another face was there. One by my left, another by my right and the third pinning me under him- goodness! They were everywhere I turned to.I closed my eyes then, only for my head to fill with images of them."Look at me," he demanded with a gentle but firm voice. He sounded so hurt. T

Amelia’s POVTWO WEEKS LATERThe oven dinged and I wore my gloves. The sweet scent of cherry pie filled the air and I took out the pan and placed it on the counter. I reached on my toes for my mother's favourite plate and I cut myself a piece.I munched down on it thrice and nodded my head, feeling satisfied at the result. I turned to her cook book and I closed it. Her recipe had finally paid off. It was worth the time and energy dedicated to it.I ate in silence just like all the other days since I moved into my home. The walls no longer felt alive and even the fragrance in the air no longer caught my fancy.Nothing interested me here. It was all glum and dark. I've had nothing but nightmares on my return here. My back hurt from folding myself on my old bed-- I could use a massage and a good Queen sized bed.I debated sleeping in her room but the minute I walked in, tears were the only things in my eye and I was walking out the next minute.I reached for my warm glass of milk and too

EMY’S POV"Don't make this harder for yourself," Nana pulled me out of my thoughts and I realised she still kept her distance but by now there was nowhere to run. The cliff was behind me and it was either I jumped to my death or let her kill me."There is no escaping me," she said with a poker face, giving me the chills and I was forced to take a step back. When her eyes landed on my feet, I gulped, worried she might get funny ideas. The corner of lips cracked into a smile and she looked me in the face again. "You have two options." I already knew what they were. "Let's not waste each other's time.""You… lured me here," I gulped. "You deceived me, didn't you?""I'm not gonna do that with you," her face fell again. "I've gone through this so many times already. It feels like an endless loop," she rolled her eyes. "But that's the goddess's fault. Hw can three men have so many mates? Haha." her laugh held no humour."Nana," I whispered in shock and horror. "What did you do… to their mat

DYLAN’S POVAfter Emy cut off the mindlink, I had been uneasy and unable to focus on anything. Luckily for me, Jerry's men were not attacking… yet. They had only gathered in large numbers and moved too close to the borders and we upped our defence and alerted our warriors to prepare for any attack. We couldn’t take any chances.'I see Jerry but why isn't he doing anything?' Thorn, who was standing still beside me, asked through the mindlink.'I'd like to know that too,' Hunter said, just as confused as we were.I observed his warriors both in human and wolf form, they were armed, growling at our men every now and then. Commander Leon was certain they were trying to surround the Pack so we had him lead half of the warriors around while the other half stayed with us.Every now and then, Jerry would smirk at us, throw in a punchline or two to try and anger us, he would mention how we chased the eight Packs away for him and even mention kidnapping our mate-'Something… is off,' and I wasn
