You wake up and take in your surroundings, wondering where you are. You touch your head and rub your forehead as if it would ease the headache you are experiencing. You don't recognize your surroundings.
‘Where the hell am I?’ you wonder. "I have fated!" you say out loud to yourself, wondering for a moment if it was all just a horrible dream. You touch your collarbone and feel the scar your fated mate had left you.
'Something's not right,' you think to yourself and get out of bed and walk over to the vanity mirror. You frown at the scar on your collarbone. “How has it been healed?” you examine it. The scar looks more like an old scar than one from the night before. With a frown on your face, you walk over to the door and find it locked.
"Hello?" you exclaim, slamming the door. After getting no response, you walk over to the curtains and pull them open. You are greeted with bright morning light and a door that led to a balcony.
