Yes, Alpha Daddy

Yes, Alpha Daddy

“You’re playing with fire, little one,” he pulled me closer, and my wolf purrred in delight. “Your father asked me to take care of you. What do you think he’s going to say when he finds out?” I moaned when he nibbled at the side of my neck. “You don’t strike me as someone who cares what anyone says.” He chuckled. “True,” he flipped me over and I gasped. “Now be a good girl while I make you scream.” **** When danger closes in on her pack, Alyssa is sent away for her own safety to the last place she should be. Under the protection of her father’s closest friend, a powerful and guarded Alpha, she finds herself trapped between duty and desire in an unfamiliar pack where nothing feels safe… not even her own heart. As tensions rise between rival packs and secrets lurk beneath the surface, Alyssa struggles with a weakening wolf and emotions she has no right to feel. The man sworn to protect her is the very one she must stay away from, yet his presence awakens something in her she can’t ignore. In a world ruled by instinct, loyalty, and the Moon Goddess’s will, some bonds are forbidden and some fates refuse to be denied. Secrets will be out. And the man she can't stay away from might actually be the one who destroys her for good.

Chapter: Chapter 66
Chapter 66 Alyssa I couldn’t sleep that night. After Ryan dropped me at the hotel, he agreed to spend some time with me, but he couldn’t stay for long because he had to go back to sort out some things. I tried persuading him to come along with me, but he refused, saying that even if he was so eager to catch up with me, Duncan would be so mad that he would take me out. After what had happened, I understood him not wanting to annoy Duncan so I didn’t push further. I watched him leave and wondered how I was going to spend the whole day. I realized I haven’t spoken to my dad in a long time. I wanted to call him but I was so disorganized and I still over what happened so I settled on sending him a text message instead. I knew he was definitely busy too so a text was better for both of us. After waiting for a while and thinking of the perfect message to send, I finally sent it.

Chapter: Chapter 65
Chapter 65Duncan’s POVI couldn’t take my eyes off her. I stared into her soul while she was eating. When I heard that she was missing, different thoughts ran through my mind that night.I remembered how scared I was that something might have happened to her. And how impatient I was while the investigation was going on.I felt like each time wasted was a danger to her life. And when we finally saw that woman, and she confirmed that she was her but left her, I thought all hope was lost.It felt like I disappointed him because he trusted me enough to leave her in my care and I allowed her to get kidnapped. I should have protected her, because he brought her here to keep her safe, and who would have thought that she’d be endangered because of my personal enemies?Only Klyde was bold enough to double-cross me that way. Not only did he mess with me, but he took Alyssa and even planned to kill her. I was going to m

Chapter: Chapter 64
Chapter 64Alyssa I opened my eyes slowly.Warm, comfortable, and safe. This was the best sleep I’ve had in days, my body felt calm and relaxed. For a moment, I didn’t move, I loved how relaxed and calm my body felt. But the sun shone on my face, burning my skin and forcing me to open my eyes. My eyes fluttered open and I yawned lazily looking around. It took me a second to actually place the dots. This doesn’t look so familiar to me. Where am I? I instantly sat up. This was Duncan’s room. How did I get here? The last thing I remembered was leaving in the same car with Ryan and Jessica. I remembered being worried about Duncan because I saw the look on his face when the officers spoke to him.I remembered the conversation I was having with Jessica. I wanted to talk to both of them and catch up on what had been happening while I was away. But I was too exhausted to talk for too long, my body

Chapter: Chapter 63
Chapter 63Alyssa Fortunately, Duncan heard me in time and dodged the attack, but the man wasn’t willing to give up. He stood up, growling furiously with his face full of anger and hatred. Duncan got injured in his arm and he was yet to shift, so I knew he wasn’t as powerful. And I was too weak to help him even though I really wanted to. All I could do was struggle to teach myself how to breathe again while hoping Duncan would win the fight. They charged towards each other again. The wolves’ attacks were very precise, aiming directly for his face and chest. He wanted to kill him instantly. Duncan figured out what he was doing and kept the distance. The fight continued for minutes, making me nervous about what the outcome was going to be. Then, while the wolf was down for a while after being struck by Duncan, he charged towards it again and punched his hand right through its chest.I sat there in sh

Chapter: Chapter 62
Chapter 62Alyssa My blood ran cold, and I blinked several times to be sure my mind wasn’t playing tricks on me. This wasn’t happening. This can’t be happening! The trauma I hadn’t healed from all came rushing back. From the way they tied me, to my escape to when they found me again and succeeded in taking me.It was like reliving the entire experience again. And it wasn’t even the man in the passenger seat, it was the driver who hated my guts from the very beginning.I thought I escaped from then, I thought I’d never have to worry about this again but I haven’t even gone far before they caught up to me.“No….” I finally muttered after regaining my voice. I was still in disbelief. The words barely left my lips.He stood there like a nightmare I wouldn't wake up from. His scarred face even looked scarier, and the smirk he had plastered on his face was definitely not good news of any sort.He

Chapter: Chapter 61
Chapter 61Alyssa What exactly was wrong with this man? He heard me scream in pain when the broken branch stung my leg, but he didn’t stop or bother turning back to check if I was okay. And now he suddenly cares about that same injury? Can he pick a side already? He slowly reached for my foot and slipped off what was left of his footwear, which he had given me earlier. The moment he saw it, he cursed in a low tone. I knew he did but I couldn’t hear exactly what he said. Dramatic much. I leaned forward and glanced at my feet and it was indeed a mess, it was red and swollen, and bleeding. I felt the pain all the time but I didn’t pay that much attention to it. They were tiny splinters and thorns embedded into my skin, some deeper than others. I didn’t realize it was this bad. My legs had been through too much and I also had sores at the sides of my ankle due to the large chains and now this? When w
