Racing Hearts: Reborn for Revenge
During the biggest racing event of the year, something goes terribly wrong and turns the track into a disaster. Without thinking, Nora runs into flames to save her husband, Caden Ackley, just to see him kissing the woman he had always sworn was just a friend as life drained from the both of them.
The world immediately becomes small as she finds out her husband’s mistress was also pregnant for him. Too small that she doesn’t realize the car beside her has exploded till the explosion throws her off the ground and into a broken race track barrier.
“Caden, since you think I’m bad luck, if there is ever a next life, I pray for the chance to truly be that to you.” She whispers as the last bit of life leaves her.
Fate gives her a second chance at life and she’s determined to rewrite her story to prevent the disaster from happening again — this time with her ex husband’s rival and training instructor, Dorian Stone, by her side.
But as feelings she never expected start to grow between them, the only question in her mind is: Can a divorced mother find love on the race track?

Chapter: 5 — Caught In My TrapNora“How did you know I was thirsty?” Acting like I was impressed was something I’ve had to do over the years with different people, so it came naturally to me. I had always made sure I didn’t do it with him, but he drove me to this edge. “I love you, and I know you so well, don’t I?” She leaned forward and kissed my forehead. “I just hate that we’ve been fighting so much.”Our gazes fell to the cup, and I looked back up to see the malicious smirk tugging the corner of his mouth. He looked at me, his gaze filled with a loving look that should definitely win him an oscar, because I know the man sitting on the bed beside me at this moment doesn’t love me at all. His conscience didn’t seem to be bugging him about the potential overdose and however taking the pills would ruin my day. The only thing singing in his head were the thoughts of him getting balls deep into his mistress. “If I drink this, it will all be over.” My voice was a bit shaky. No matter how much I hated him now, the

Chapter: 4 — Play Like A FoolNora If the ground was ever going to open and swallow me whole, now was the time, because Caden looked like he was going to bury me alive. His face was red, and he was reeling from whatever he just read. “What the fuck is this?!” His tone was cold and his gaze was colder. I started to back up as he moved forward. “Fucking answer me! What the fuck is this?!” The document was in his hands, now squeezed in the middle due to how tight he was gripping it. “I-I… ” I stammered, frantically looking for an excuse or a lie to tell, but my brain was moving super flipping slow. Think. Think. Think Nora! “You know… I must really give it to you. You’re quite bold.” He threw the document and the papers scattered on the floor, just like my thoughts were in my head, and to make it worse, the back of my knees hit the edge of the couch, causing me to fall on it. From the corner of my eye, I could see Rory grinning, clearly enjoying the show. I made a mental note to knock her teeth out if I ever g

Chapter: 3 — Divorce PapersNora The three days passed by peacefully, and of course, I wasted no time with sorting out my things. I had filed for a divorce, and for some reason, I could feel nervousness mixed with the anticipation that was gnawing my bones. Zara was upstairs with her nanny, and Caden still hadn’t returned, leaving me alone in the mansion. I sunk into the sofa in the living room, still in disbelief that everything I’ve built for the past five years was all a farce. Every smile he flashed my way, every look of concern, every gentle caress. Fuck. Every single moment I cherished was just him pretending so I wouldn’t get ahead of him. He reduced me to nothing with just three words. I love you. My mind started to spiral and it felt like I was taken back to that race track with the flames everywhere and the sight of him hugging his mistress and cursing my very existence. My heart squeezed painfully and it felt like I couldn’t breathe. I grabbed a glass of water, chugged it down and decided t

Chapter: 2 — He Chose His MistressNora I opened my mouth to answer him, my mind scrambling for an answer to his question. Caden would never let me leave if he knew my plans. Just then, he got a call, and his face instantly brightened up. His focus moved from me entirely to his phone as he answered it. “Rory,” he said, his voice softer as he spoke into the phone. I had to hold back a scoff and pretend like I didn’t notice it. Now, seeing it in hindsight, he never bothered to try to hide his affair. I was just too blind and delusionally in love with him to notice. I kept making excuses for him, lying to myself for him, and I took whatever he told me and put it there as the cherry on top. “I’ll be right down.” He finished and turned to me, his expression turning sour. “Aren’t you going to help me with my bag?” In the past, I had always rushed to him, eager to help with whatever he was doing, I’d pack his bag with his racing kit, snacks and other essentials he’d need while racing, but he never appreciated it.

Chapter: 1 — Friends Don’t KissNoraThe crowd roared with praise as my husband floored the three racing cars ahead of him. He was now second place. Just one more left and he’d win the race! My heart bloomed with pride, causing me to look at the gift I had prepared for our sixth anniversary. It was a simple silver necklace with a square amethyst locket. His favourite picture of the both of us sat inside, and I smiled again as I refocused my gaze on the car race.I told him I wasn’t feeling well so I could surprise him after his big race today.‘Caden, I wonder what gift you have prepared for me for our anniversary this year. I do hope you love mine, because with this necklace, I can be with you always.’I watched with excitement and a growing aching need to be with him and celebrate our sixth anniversary, but as the race went on, something went terribly wrong.I caught sight of the trail of gasoline that had now spread around the whole track, and milliseconds after, fire engulfed the track because of a car that had
