When Eve reached the room that Linda would be staying in, she opened the door and said, “Wait until you see the bathtub in here! Arec and Eve glanced at each other with raised eyebrows. When the bushes near the car rustled, Michael stood at attention and scanned the area, putting himself between Linda and whatever was approaching. He relaxed when he saw his siblings emerge from between the leaves. “Did you find her?” Bella asked, hurrying toward the car. Eve and Arec joined his siblings in the kitchen in the morning. After Eve, Arec, and Michael had showered and dressed in clean clothing, they headed downstairs toward the living room, where Julia and Bella waited. “Ray said to tell you he’s going to be a few minutes late,” Bella told them once she saw them.
