Chapter: Chapter 6: The Woman in the Glass TowerElena's POVI could barely recognize who I was as I stood at the glass wall of my office, staring at the woman who was not even close to who she was five years ago. When my wolf awakened, everything about me changed.I am a new person. I'm not alone anymore. I have the wolf living underneath my skin…and my daughter, Nora, who is my world. I don't regret the day I left the silvermoon pack. Back then, I was a weak, frail Omega, who was disrespected by everyone. Now I'm Elena Sterling. The CEO of Meridian Trade Group, the largest trading company that links the human and werewolf worlds.I walked out of my office, heels clacking against the marble floor. In an instant, all heads bowed, in greeting. I offered them a polite nod and watched as my assistant ran up to me.“Miss!” She bowed her head in greeting and handed me a file. “The Silvermoon pack has sent yet another partnership request.”“No.” I said flatly, not even glancing at the file that was handed to me.“O-okay.” She said, taking

Chapter: Chapter 5: I'm Leaving YouElena's PovI was running, but I didn't know where I was going. All I could hear were the voices around me, mocking and laughing."A wolf-less Luna." "A Luna who cannot bear children." "She doesn't deserve to be Luna." I covered my ears, but their voices only grew louder. No matter how fast I ran, I couldn't escape them. Then someone shouted, "She's nothing but a burden to the Alpha!"I turned around and saw people pointing at me with disgust. I wanted to tell them they were wrong, that I was still their Luna, but the words wouldn't come out.A sudden splash of cold water hit my face, and I gasped as I jerked awake. My clothes and sheets were wet, and my hair stuck to my face.As I opened my eyes, I saw the Beta's daughter sitting beside my bed with an empty basin in her hands. She was wearing a beautiful dress, one that immediately caught my attention. It was the kind of dress reserved for the Luna, the kind I had worn proudly for years. She noticed me staring and smiled. "Finally

Chapter: Chapter 4: You Chose HerElena's POVI returned to my bedroom and placed the things I had collected from the nursery on the bed. The little clothes, blankets, and toys I had carefully chosen for our future child were scattered across the sheets. Just yesterday, I had imagined arranging everything in the nursery and preparing to welcome the baby I had prayed for. Now, another woman would be using that room for her child. My eyes were still red from crying when the door opened and my husband walked in. He glanced at the things on the bed before looking at me with a frown."What exactly are you so upset about?" he asked. "I have just returned from fighting a war, yet instead of welcoming me, you keep losing your temper. First, you argued with me yesterday, and now you're making trouble over a room. What do you expect me to do?"I stared at him in disbelief. After everything he had done, he still expected me to welcome him with a smile as though nothing had happened."I expect you to remember that you have a wife

Chapter: Chapter 3:The New LunaElena's PovI waited for him all night, but he never returned. I kept telling myself that he was probably still at the hospital with her, but as the hours passed, my heart sank. The food I had prepared for his return remained untouched, and the little gift box containing the pregnancy test sat on the table. I had been so excited to tell him that we were finally going to have a child, but now, I didn't even know if I should bother. I lowered my hand to my stomach and gently rubbed it. "I'm sorry, little one," I whispered. "Your father doesn't even know you're here yet." Tears filled my eyes as I thought about the future I had imagined. I had pictured us choosing names and preparing for our baby's arrival together. Instead, another woman's child was being celebrated while mine remained a secret.I spent the rest of the night crying alone. Servants passed my door, chatting excitedly about the Alpha's heir, but nobody came to check on me.Everyone seemed happy that the pack would final

Chapter: Chapter 2: I'm Pregnant tooElena's PovI stared at him in disbelief. He was angry with me? After what I had just witnessed, he actually expected me to welcome him with open arms? He sighed when I didn't answer. His expression changed, and he stepped closer, using the same gentle voice he always used whenever he wanted to calm me down."Come on, my love. I'm tired. I have been away for too long, and all I want right now is to spend some time alone with my Luna."I pushed his hand away when he tried to touch me. "Why?" I asked, my voice breaking. "Why would you do this to me? Why would you get her pregnant?" Tears ran down my cheeks as I looked at the man I had loved for so many years. "I am your Luna. I am your mate. How could you betray me like this?"He let out a tired breath and rubbed his forehead. "It wasn't supposed to happen," he explained. "We were celebrating after the battle, and I drank too much. When I woke up the next morning, she was lying beside me. I didn't know what had happened until the doct

Chapter: Chapter 1: The Heir He Brought HomeElena's PovI hummed softly as I moved around the kitchen, checking the food on the stove for what felt like the hundredth time. Everything had to be perfect. Tonight was special because my husband, Kael, was finally coming home after spending weeks fighting the rogue wolves at the border. I wanted to welcome him with his favorite meal and make sure he knew how much I had missed him.The dining table was already set, and I had prepared enough food to feed half the pack. I had even gone through my wardrobe several times before settling on a green dress. It was his favorite color, and he had once told me that I looked beautiful in it. He said the color brought out my eyes, and I had remembered those words ever since. I wanted to look beautiful for him tonight. After all, it had been a long time since we had spent a peaceful evening together without worrying about pack duties or threats from the rogues. There was another reason I was so excited. On the kitchen counter sat a small gift
