Slave to the Savage Alpha
She wanted to become a doctor; he turned her into his sex slave.
Zorya's whole world crashed when she was kidnapped from her village and sold at an auction to ruthless and savage Alpha Caliath. He owned an underground ring of slaves and warriors. The "Sunken Pit", as it was called, became Zorya's new home. She was abused and survived solely on her willpower and medical skills.
Until another slave became her protector: Xalik Dravidus, a warrior and slave, was, in fact, the son of the Alpha King. Cursed and sold by his father, his wolf spirit had been suppressed. Only his true mate could awaken it.
Xalik and Zorya became each other's strength in that hellish place. But would they be able to escape? Or would Alpha Caliath uncover the truth, and would they forever be kept apart?

Excerpt:
Something silver gleamed in his hands. His salacious eyes slowly took me in; lust danced in their depths.
He commanded, "Kneel."
He extended his hand. It was a silver shock collar, and he intended to put it around my neck.
A shiver ran through me as my knees touched the carpet and cold metal clicked around my neck.
"Don't try to take it off, or it would give you an electric shock," he warned, voice low and dangerous.
I gulped in fear, but my whole body shook with his next order.
"Now stand up and shed your gown. I want to see and claim what cost me a million dollars."

Chapter: Locked Away Emotions(Zorya)(Sensitive content ahead, read with caution)She seemed to have immensely angered him. “Oh! Come now. She is just a new toy, and you know how Shade can be.” She whined like a child.Shade? Was that his name? It seemed more like a nickname. “How many times have I told you that my playthings are not yours to be used? Don't you already have enough slaves?” Caliath disappointedly said to his sister. “As if you lack them? I wanted some fun,” she cooed. “She is off-limits. I spent a hefty amount on buying her.” He leaned back, letting go of my hair, but not before spreading it on his lap like a silver napkin.“Huh! You can make that amount in a single day. You are no fun, brother,” she continued to protest, and I stole a glance at her. A pout had come to rest on her lips. “Canara!” He sternly said with such finality that I flinched.“Fineeee, I will spare her. Happy.” His fingers gently and possessively grazed my hair in his lap, and yet his touch terrified me. “Learn to get

Chapter: Her Song(Zorya)“You need rest; you should sleep some more,” I requested without turning towards him. I found it strange how he was awake after all the morphine we had injected into his body. Did he have a high tolerance for it? The thought terrified me again. It meant he had been hurt countless times. And that black collar around his neck- how many times has she electrocuted him? “Stay!” His single word was a request, and yet it harboured the madness and storm that must be brewing in his head. He didn't wish to be alone. After what he went through, he needed a therapist, and so did I. But all we had was each other. “I am on night duty to stay.” I turned around and walked over to him, resuming my seat. Seeing me sit, he finally closed his eyes. “Can we talk about it?” I quietly whispered, seeing the chains still around his ankles. He pointed to his eyes and shook his head. But pointing to his ears, he nodded. It meant they could hear us but not see. I nodded in understanding. He cl

Chapter: Three Shaded Eyes(Zorya)Did he regret saving me and getting punished for it? Was he going to hurt me? But his grip was not bruising, unlike Beta Hadis, Jazian and that monster who molested me. I sensed a tickle where our skins connected. Panich choked the air in my throat. “....ummm….I didn't… mean to wake you,” I finally blurted out in a broken sentence. Fear crawled over me like a centipede, wriggling its body. “Did they hurt you?” He asked, in a voice rough around the edges and yet a hint of concern underlying it. Even in this situation, even after everything he was through, he was concerned about me. He didn't even know me. Stupidly, I blinked at him. “No.” His irises were not completely green, but there was an inner circle of blue before the black pupil started. Three shaded eyes were rare, very rare. He let go of my wrist and let his hand drop. The veins in his muscular arm prominently protruded. I drew myself away from his imposing figure and haunting eyes. They remained focused on

Chapter: Wounds and Emotions(Zorya) I couldn't stop shaking when Jazian dropped me back in the clinic. Tatiana wearily eyed me and stood up from her chair. “What happened?” I sagged on the bench, holding my face. Tears of humiliation flowed out of my eyes. “You are not going to survive here if you cry after every summon. Harden your heart and keep your strength; you will need it,” she said, her voice lacking any animosity. “Go, meet Ashlia in the recovery room. She will tend to you. She is the one who did it before too.” She placed her hand on my shoulder and pressed. I didn't need tending now, but I wanted to escape this suffocating situation. I wished to breathe. Entering through the backdoor Tatiana had pointed towards, I arrived in the recovery room. Everything was pristine white and clinically clean. From the hospital bed to the walls and curtains. Devoid of colour and yet hauntingly serene. “Hey!” I turned my head at the voice and found a female around my age, placing white roses in a cryst

Chapter: Ego or Her(Zorya)The woman was the female version of Caliath: same blue eyes and brown hair. Ruthlessness and authority exuded from her. She donned a red and gold gown with matching accessories. A coiled gold serpent-styled tiara rested on her head, studded with rubies. This had to be Vega Canara, Caliath's sister. “I said end his pathetic life and claim your victory,” she ordered again, her hands fisted by her side. The crowd went completely silent. No one moved or whispered. Every eye was focused on the warrior with the spear. The bead of perspiration trickled down his hair, spear sharp still inches away from taking the life of his enemy. To everyone's dismay, instead of obeying Canara, he casually tossed the spear on the sand and stepped back. “No!” His deep, gravelly voice echoed like a thunder of defiance in the arena. “Ohhh!” “Did he just defy the order of his Mistress?” “He is so dead.”“A slave so daring.”“A fine warrior with shitty behaviour.”The crowd began to whisper. Thei

Chapter: Warrior in the Pit(Zorya)Tatiana was a stern-looking woman. Sitting behind a polished desk, she was writing with a golden pen in a diary, with a tight bun at the back of her head and a face carved out of granite. Her pristine white coat had not a single crease on it. “She is new. Might have some experience. You needed an assistant.” Hadis pointed towards me. Tatiana’s sharp eyes took me in. “I did.”“But don't forget, she belongs to the Alpha. When he calls, she goes,” Hadis warned in a grim voice, which had her nodding her head. “Understood. You can leave her with me.” Hadis left, closing the door behind him. Tatiana placed the golden pen down on the paper and clasped her hands. “How many years of medical?” She questioned, showing no emotions. “I completed three years.” Tatiana reached into a drawer on her desk. She extracted a bunch of papers stapled together and extended them towards me. “Complete these questions so I can know your level.” Stepping forward, I accepted the papers. She point

Chapter: Epilogue(Three years later) Author’s POV “Mommy! look, butterfly.” Minerva pointed to the blue butterfly that was slowly flapping its wings over the multitude of flowers. The apple pendant rested peacefully around her neck. Karica sat on the fresh grass and happily watched her four-year-old daughter play in the small meadow that used to belong to the witches of Black Forest. Most of them were buried nearby after Vildus’s attack had killed them. Including two of her mentors, Gwardia and Arasia. The efforts of reconciliation had failed between her and Xynathius and she had moved here two years ago. He visited every week to meet Minerva and carrying hopes that Karica might decide to return but she never did. This place calmed her down, she could sense powerful magic running deep into the very ground and air. It pulled Karica and Minerva too. Her daughter was already showing early signs of possessing magic and this place helped channel that in a peaceful environment. The protection charm

Chapter: Her TruthsKarica’s POVReturning to my former pack and going on a limb to talk to the man I thought was my father all my life, was not easy. With my state of mind, I just wanted to get this over with and he needed to hear me out. Kaina was overjoyed to see me and so was Selia. We hugged and sat down to talk. “We were so worried about you. It was a relief when news of your return arrived.” Kaina held me close and I sat with my head resting on her shoulder. Selia was holding my other hand. “Yes, indeed. And Kilran told me about Adiyan. I am sorry your friend is gone,” Selia sympathetically said not knowing he meant so much more to me and I was no more afraid of talking aloud about him. “He was also my mate. I am a part witch and so was he. Adiyan was the best thing to happen to me and I lost him because I didn't value him enough.” I spoke my truth and both girls were a bit taken aback. Two mates were unheard of and I didn't want to burden them with the likes of Vildus. He was no mate to me.

Chapter: Lingering Scent In His RoomKarica’s POVHow I made it from the cemetery to his home was all blurry. Xynathius held me all along but he didn't say much and if he did, I didn't remember. His family was kind enough to let me go to his room. I slowly opened the door and lingering whiffs of his scent blanketed me. I paused, closed my eyes and got hold of my emotions. Flicking on the light switch, I let my eyes roam his sanctuary for one last time. Everything was immaculately laid out, neat and in its place. His bed, where we had cuddled so many times. His gaming area, where we had endlessly played video games. His closet filled with his clothes, ones he would never get a chance to wear again. I traced my fingertips on everything he had owned while heavily sighing. The empty feeling in my chest grew. The echoes of his laughter still persisted from the moments when he used to tickle me. All that was just reduced to his loving memories. Stepping closer to his bed, and there between his pillows, I found the wolfie st

Chapter: They Buried My HeartKarica’s POVXynathius’s words were like gasoline on my already raging self. The loss of Adiyan had torn my heart into so many pieces that I couldn't put them back together anymore. Every breath was torture for I was reminded of him. I had no clue how to cope with such stifling emotions. Barely holding on and now this revelation further shattered me. Adiyan had felt me, he had reached out to me but Xynathius never even gave me an option to choose. He knew I would choose him. I silently shook my head at Xynathius so disappointed. He had not only taken my free will he even snubbed my rights to choose my mate. His presence and scent which should soothe me in such a moment was nothing but torture. “Because I am selfish when it comes down to you. I wanted you all by myself. It was wrong, I admit it but I was desperate. Sharing you was something I could never do.” His words blazed me and I flipped. All the pent-up anger inside me emerged like a poisonous snake and bit him. “It was not y

Chapter: The DistrustXynathius’s POVVildus was gone from our lives as well as our world but so was Adiyan. The prophecy was completed and fulfilled, leaving my mate broken. She wouldn't let go of Adiyan’s body, she wouldn't hear me, Laila or Zilver. Everyone had been shut out as she mourned the loss of her mate. I touched her shoulder letting her know I was there for her but she just sat there dazedly, staring blankly at his face. The guilt dug its tentacles deep into my heart. Adiyan was a better man than me in every aspect and he would have made an exceptional mate to her. Karica was right about him when she first met me. And yet he was gone and I was partially responsible. The guilt will never fade. I owed my life to him, he died protecting us and this was a kind of debt which couldn't be repaid. She bent down and kissed his lips and then his forehead. Her lips stayed there in a final goodbye as she hugged him to her chest, a scream and a tremorous wave of energy burst through her and hit us all

Chapter: The Prophecy Is FulfilledKarica’s POVThe most horrendous scream escaped me as my body jerked forward, the whole world blurring around me. All I could hear and focus on was Adiyan’s slowly beating heart. He was still alive but for how long?My own seemed to have been crushed under a boulder and there was only one thought on my mind. I had to save my mate. I slowly watched Vildus reaching out to him, the time seemed to be progressing at a snail’s pace for me. Vildus was about to slit his throat. “Noooo,” I cried out in desperation as a surge of spiked air with frozen thunderbolts shot out and were hurled in Vildus’s direction. His hollowed-out laugh erupted and clung to my sides as he disintegrated into bats and tried to fly away again. “No, you won't,” I screamed out with all the disgust and rage I carried. Halting, I converged my hands together, the blackened energy I carried inside rushed out in gigantic swirls and wrapped themselves around Vildus’s bats like writhing snakes. This was my piled-up hate f
