Mysterious Girl

"Hey, Remi! Wanna do a group study later?"

"Remi's hanging out with us later at the karaoke, right Remi?"

"We call dibs on Remi first, she's gonna help out with the student council later!"

Students are crowding around Remi to get her schedule. UPC High. A prestigious school where it is known to be the place of all top students study. Despite its reputation, Remi has been given the scholarship to enroll here for she is known to have the qualities of a genius student. Every student in UPC High aim for the top, or so it seems, ever since Remi entered the campus. Students and teachers are not only captivated by her beauty but also Remi's brains that exceed a normal student always leaves everyone in awe. Not to mention, her kindness and humility can make anyone fall for her.

"Calm down you guys, one at a time. I would gladly help you all out. Let's schedule it first, okay?" Remi said as she puts on such an angelic face. She also thought to herself "What a drag." As if there was a little demon Remi appeared on her shoulder getting very much annoyed.

"AHHH! Remi is so kind!" Everyone making a fuss over Remi as if they were hypnotized by her beauty and eventually see flowers around her like it was an illusion.

"The popular girl. The top 1 gorgeous lady in all of UPC. The top highest-ranking student all over the country. Boys and even girls would want to date her. The perfect student who has all teachers in her favor. The kind and ever so loving Remi. " Scarlet narrating what everyone thinks about Remi. She puts on her sunglasses and smirks at Remi trying to tell everyone that *Hey! I'm her childhood best friend, worship me*.

Remi and Scarlet just chilling and hanging out at the festive mall as they were having their conversation.

"What the fuck are you blabbing about?" Remi said with a displeased look on her face. Just like that, Scarlet knew her true colors ever since they were little toddlers. Regardless of Remi's attitude to Scarlet, it was very normal for them. In the public's eye, Remi is the perfect student but no one other than Scarlet knows about her personality.

"Nothing, just narrating your life right now to the readers." Scarlet smiles back at you and tells you to keep on reading the story. Hehe ;))

"What readers? Ahhh... we're behind schedule let's go!" Remi said as she puts on her leather black jacket. "Chiz" Scarlet follows while drinking her milk tea and chatting with their gang on messenger to go get ready. Both of them left with their motorbikes with their matching delinquent-like matching uniforms.

It was 11 PM. Another group of delinquents was gathered by Scarlet and Remi. They were loafing around while they wait for Remi's instructions. The gang found themselves outside the local mayor's mansion.

"Now time to vandalize this cute lil' home." Remi snigger and looks at the gang all ready to trash the place. But... for some reason, Remi was also feeling uneasy to the point that she felt a chill right up to her spine and thought maybe something bad will happen.

"Can we steal too?" One of the new recruits asked.

"Do as you like, not that I care," Remi uttered and has her face turn back into a poker face.

"Just don't get caught you fools," Scarlet added as she was licking at her lollipop. Even though Scarlet was acting like a joker wearing sunglasses, she still kept her guard up for she never really trusts the people in their gang.

"As if. We're masters of hiding you see." Another delinquent said with such a half-confident attitude.

"Yea, right. You almost got us caught last time we snuck at the Mayor's home last time we broke in." Scarlet got a little irritated.

"Ey! How would I know their security was tight." Another delinquent added.

"Shut it! Imbeciles." The moment Remi almost snapped, her presence and immense aura got everyone's attention.

"Yea, shut it!" Scarlet trying to hold her laughter because she never thought that Remi could get angry.

Remi looked at Scarlet as if she was signaling her to *Shut up, and one more word out of you, I will kill*. "How bout' I'll put you to sleep Scarlet?" Remi smiled and said it sarcastically with intent to kill.

"Okay, I'll shut up now." Scarlet almost pissed her pants for the intense fear she felt from Remi. She turned into an obedient person as if she was a lost little puppy that made her master mad.

The gang now went inside and as Remi expected, there was no one home. The delinquents start trashing the place. Others vandalized almost everyone's bedroom. They were laughing so hard as they keep on throwing stuff at each other. Scarlet still couldn't get over what happened earlier and get traumatized by Remi. She is still having fragments of the scenario as she kept staring at the wall and glance at the window from time to time to keep watch outside.

Meanwhile, Remi was just wandering inside the mansion without anyone bothering her. She felt relieved that no one found out that there was a secret place in the mansion so that she could have some time alone. She kept on walking and walking until she decided to go back where everyone else is.

"Ah.. finally! I'm beat." The delinquent looking at Scarlet that they're tired and wants to go home. All of them went outside and were waiting for Remi to have the go signal.

"I know right. Ey Remi, can I head home now? We done right?" Scarlet knowing what others meant also tried to tell Remi that *that's enough for today* look.

"Remi? Oi Remi? You deaf or something?" Scarlet looking at Remi spacing out and looked in the opposite direction of where Remi is also looking.

A mysterious girl in the shadows that Remi couldn't see too well and was also curious as to what the girl was doing.

Remi thought to herself, *What is that person running for?* *It's already 1 AM for peat's sake*.

Scarlet was also intrigued by Remi's face looking all worried and curious at the same time, "Earth to Remi?" she said. *Wtf is this girl spacing out for?* Scarlet thought to herself as she is trying to figure out what Remi is looking at.

But then... "AHHH! THE COPS!" Scarlet trying to get Remi's attention by fooling her that the cops have already arrived.

"Maaaammmaaa! Where?" Remi screamed like a little girl getting caught by her parents.

"HAHAHAHA mama? Finally, you're back. What are you spacing out for?" Scarlet asked while the others are also curious why their conversation is taking so long.

"Uh- nothing. Let's bail." Remi reverted back to herself and instructed everyone that they can go home. At the same time, Remi was glancing in the opposite direction and saw a light running towards her but then she realized it wasn't a light.

Suddenly the mysterious girl that Remi was looking at in the distance was running towards her carrying a box and accidentally bumps into her. They both fell instantly.

"Aargh- that hurts man," Remi growled as she was touching her head that was hit.

"Ahh, my head." The girl said as she was trying to get up as soon as possible.

Remi looked at the girl and was speechless for about five seconds. She never thought that she could be this beautiful in Remi's eyes. She looked at her struggling to get up but as Remi came back to her senses, she puts on her usual bad girl attitude.

"Ha- are you blind? You have two eyes right? Are you fond of bumping into other people?" Remi was exasperated while thinking at the back of her mind of why she was running at this hour.

The girl had the expression like Scarlet earlier. She was so scared that she regretted running on this path. "Uh- I-" Chloe couldn't have the words out of her mouth and sees Remi like a predator who caught her prey.

"It's 1 AM already, and what's with that get up?" Remi asked her since she was wearing an apron that looked like she was working so she had to make sure.

Still, Chloe is scared enough to just look at her with fear, "I- uh-". The girl looked around and realized that were delinquents. Her heart keeps rising and rising and she feels like she's going to pass out.

"Well? You don't know how to speak? You look like you just got off of work." Remi assumed from the way that she is dressed. She saw her name tag that says ~Chloe~. She thought to herself of how cute her name was and wanted to call out her name.

"Sorry! Sorry! I'm so sorry. Don't kill me." Chloe, then, suddenly, ran away while she had the chance.

"Wow, hahaha. I thought she'll never speak.", Scarlet said.

"Hmm..." Remi was all confused that she never realized how scary she was. Scarlet was looking at her and thought about how oblivious Remi was towards a helpless bunny *referring to Chloe*. Remi felt a little thump at her heart as she was imagining Chloe's face again. She wanted to see her again and call her name and start things over but then, she was disappointed at herself to said such harsh things to her.

"You were kinda harsh tho. What's wrong?"Just like that, Scarlet really said the thoughts in Remi's mind. Remi got irritated and looked at Scarlet all pissed off.

"Huh? Check your eyeballs again. This is how I have always been." Remi denying the fact that she really was harsh and the gang looked at her trying not to comment anymore.

"Hoo?" Scarlet smiled and wondered why Remi got all worked up by that girl.

"Ahh, now my head hurts argh. I'll leave. See ya." Everyone still looking at Remi and came to a conclusion that they can all go home from what she said.

"Remi's being weird." A delinquent had to comment one last time. The others covered his mouth and trying the shut it up.

When they all left, as Scarlet was walking, she thought of something interesting that might happen from here and out.

As Remi arrived at her apartment. She head right straight to bed and she had some mixed thoughts. "That girl looks like she's tired and in pain. I wonder what happened earlier before she bumped into me?". Even though Remi had those thoughts, she was too oblivious that her attitude towards her earlier frightened her so much. Remi imaging the scenario of Chloe and got all flustered.

"Ha- Why am I even thinking of her. I hope I won't get to see her again."
