"Eva!" I cradled her unconscious body in my arms and shook gently, trying to open her eyes.
But she was barely breathing. If it were not for the low thump of her heart, I would have thought she is dead.
I grabbed the phone from my pocket and immediately dialed a number. Gabe, the Beta of our pack and one of my close friends picked up the phone after a couple of rings.

A week laterLiam's POV"Eva, do not sit there." I rushed to her by the window and grabbed her before she could sit on the sill. For some reason, she was obsessed with sitting there while staring out.
