Evelyn's POVThe minute my hand was grabbed by none other than Xavier, I doubted whether this was a dream."Evelyn..." He muttered, gazing into my eyes. His eyes were trained on my every move.I thought he was sleeping!"Uh...Fancy meeting you here?" Did I really just say that? I think Clara is rubbing it off on me.His eyes trailed down to where my fingers were holding the boarding ticket. His forehead formed creasing lines as his eyebrows narrowed down at it."Spying on me?" He arched his brow at me, smirking.Okay, it's my face that I'm staring at but man that smirk is riding up the back of my hair. And I must say, it looks cool on me. I should try smirking when I get back into my body.My body! Right!"Did you think I would leave my body alone with you? Give me back my body." I snarled at him."Then come and get it." He challenged me.I blinked. "I am here..." I gestured to myself with my other free hand."No, I meant not your soul." He groaned, feeling the pain as if he had experi
Evelyn POVThis is dreadful. My life has come to a stage where every truth seems to be harsh. Harsh reality as the saying goes by.This is not normal. I was just living my jolly life by teasing or torturing Ivy when I liked and was having fun with that. When did it come to this!?"Will you stop pacing around the room? You're acting like this is some serious unbearable news." Xavier scoffed, laying his back against the headboard of the bed and folding his arms against his girly chest.I halted in my steps, turning my heels to him. "Because it is! I... you're... oh dear I can't even say it. What am I supposed to tell my future kids when they ask how old their father is? Right, just swing by and tell 'oh! I wanted to see how it feels to marry an old man so I gave it a try.' That doesn't makes sense!!" I exclaimed, making my point clear for the pacing I've been doing for the past minutes.I even lost the count of the time."Wait wait..." Xavier sat up straight, gesturing with his hand as
Evelyn's POVAround me was just darkness enveloping and after a while, that light sight of vision was starting to be blocked. I felt the darkness moving closer towards me. I'm still stuck in this void of his subconsciousness. When will I get out??"$@#%@*#,$" An unknown voice with no knowledge of the language echoed in the darkness.I frowned, "Hello? Xavier, this is your doing, I'm not gonna let you off so easily." I said in agitation.I wanted to get out of this space already.Wind passed by me in seconds as my hair swayed back and my eyes reluctantly closed on their own by the force. "What the-" I opened my eyes just to be face to face with a man.I flinched, taking a few steps back. The head of that man raised and to my horror it was Xavier. But, he looked lifeless. His face was covered with dark spots, red-shot eyes and hair dishevelled. He stretched his hand out to me before whispering. "Save me-"And I woke up. The same ceiling of the room hotel was in front of my eyes. Clara
Evelyn POVIt took us 2 hours to settle down. Everyone went through something mentally as we were thrown into that trance. "How will we find him now?" Clara asked. She was the least affected. She said she barely had any mental trauma and what she witnessed was her mother scolding her to study. "If I only knew what was the second activation." Jace sighed. He didn't say anything but he was caught up in that trance as well.Except for my mother, who freed us from that mental prison. She was holding onto some potions from Doctor Ruby but she didn't expect to use them any time soon."There is a way." I broke the silence of worry. We were recharging ourselves and eating light snacks. Janice was the most quiet, she didn't talk and only listened to our conversation or maybe that's how it looked like."What is it?" Clara asked, munching on cookies."Mate-bond. I can connect to him through that."Silence fell in as nobody said a word of protest. Even though it was visible from their faces tha
Evelyn's POV"Oh come on! Not this again!" I groaned, not wanting to go through the maze of these doors. The last time I ended up in between the riddle of these doors, it only got weirder and weirder. But it also was a bit conflicting.I remembered the last image I saw of Xavier before I pushed out of my slumber. Is Xavier really in need of help? Is he struggling against something? Does he have some sort of trauma? My eyes darted at the door, realizing that all these questions would possibly have answers behind this door."Well. I can't get out until I go through this door." I mumbled, placing my palm on the knob before turning it to open.I stepped inside the room that was just another endless darkness enveloping me as the door behind me disappeared. Slowly the light flashed in my eyes but to my dismay, it rather stung my eyes.I hissed, covering my eyes with my palm. As such my eyes took notice of the bruises that looked fresh and old painted all over my hand. Instantly, I knew it
Evelyn's POVI couldn't do anything. After making me drink from that goblet, he disappeared again. It was getting harder to catch him. I watched him leave with no regret on his face. Did he even think about how we were connected more closely now that I accepted him as a mate?Thoughts only crossed my mind the whole time. I even felt helpless, wanting to give up, just becoming one with the grass I was lying on.He left me again......I gasped, bolting upright and taking in my surroundings. I was back in the car, Jace was driving the car and the others turned to me."You're finally awake," Clara said with relief washing over her face."What... happened...?" I grunted, clutching my head. "You want the full version or short version?" Janice asked.I frowned, a headache kicking in. "Short version, I guess?""Okay so we found you after 2 days and you stayed unconscious for more than 2 days. Right now we're going back to the pack house." I was unconscious for 4 days?"What about Xavier?"
Hello! It's been pretty long, I know. I was not at all publishing and hardly worked on my other book (Babysitting my wife). I don't really have excuses. I couldn't spare some time to write while being completing my college. But I'm here with this note, because I have good news. This book is going to end soon. There are only 7 chapters left to finally end the second part of this book and it will declare the end of Clara's life story.I will be making sure I publish those 7 chapters in this month so I can probably start my other werewolf story. The plot for my other werewolf story is pretty complex but it's very good. Something different from what I've always written. The main character won't be anything like Carefree and funny Clara. I'll leave the story name here : "Rogues house."Please do Read it when I publish it. Now back to Bizarre Wolf, there's a lot I want to say for this story. It went through many changes but I'm glad I was able to publish it officially. Anyhow, it's close
Evelyn's POVI stared at the ceiling of our pack house clinic, realizing two things. One, I'm back in the pack house. Two, Xavier tried to kill me by starving my body!Just then Clara startled me, "Xavier didn't try to kill you by starving. It's something else."I eyed her suspiciously, seeing how she was back to supporting him like she used to before as well. "How would you know that?" I asked, noticing my voice sounding slightly hoarse.Did he not drink water too?"Ah, that! Jace brought the witches' book- don't know about the title, it was some weird gigantic words- so I tried out one spell from it because I was curious and he ate a lot when he was in your body."I blinked in puzzlement. "You were able to chant a spell?""Yeah, I got some witch blood in me. It's very slight though. The thickness is more of werewolf genes."Ah... that explains. Well, Esmeralda is her relative so it's a possibility."Wait... aren't you supposed to be in your room until brother lets you leave?" I rais
