Evelyn POV

It took us 2 hours to settle down. Everyone went through something mentally as we were thrown into that trance.

"How will we find him now?" Clara asked. She was the least affected. She said she barely had any mental trauma and what she witnessed was her mother scolding her to study.

"If I only knew what was the second activation." Jace sighed. He didn't say anything but he was caught up in that trance as well.

Except for my mother, who freed us from that mental prison. She was holding onto some potions from Doctor Ruby but she didn't expect to use them any time soon.
