"Of course not," Vida said, shaking her head vehemently. She was concerned with how quickly Axel picked up on things. "I am not avoiding you; why on earth would I?"

"That is what I am saying; why would you?" he asked, leaning into the door frame casually.

"I just needed privacy, as I am not used to sharing a room with people yet," she lied. It was him she was trying to get away from. "I came in here to take a couple of calls, that's all," she added, trying to sound convincing to him.

It was obvious he did not believe her, and he did not need to say anything for her to know this. They both stood for a while staring at each other intently before Axel finally took a deep breath.

"I did not want to sound like a nag," he began, and she nodded because it was quite ironic; he seemed to be everywhere trying to lecture her about everything she should be doing and she shouldn't be doing.

    "You do not have to look so nervous," Anna laughed when she saw the expression on her face.
