~LUNA~

"Are you sure about this?" His deep, crispy voice rumbled through me, even though our bodies were no longer pressed against each other. We were standing in front of a hotel room, his gaze fixed on mine searchingly.

"Once we go in, there's no going back." He continued when I didn't say anything immediately, allowing me to rethink my obviously stupid decision and go back.

"Yes," I muttered as my determined gaze met his. I was done being careful. A touch of recklessness should suffice. I was tipsy, but still in control of my reasoning. I climbed the elevator with him, knowing fully well what I was getting into. I needed to prove an asshole wrong— have wild sex. Break, if I could— since I was fragile.

"Let's do it." I held his gaze with a challenging tilt of my head. After a few seconds of holding mine, his gaze dipped to my lips and the intensity of it sent chills through my spine. I mentally shook my head. Maybe it was the alcohol seeping in and not the fact that his gaze was doing things to my insides.

The beeping of the key card dragged me out of my thoughts. He was staring at me while opening the door. Not just at my face, his gaze hovered over every part of my body. Another chill, plus a tingling sensation that emanated from nowhere. Focus! Luna!

We walked into the suite room and the first thing my eyes took in was the king-sized bed that stood in the middle of an exquisitely furnished spacious room.

But that was before his mouth came onto mine with such intensity and hunger that it made my knees grow weak immediately.

"Still the alcohol," I chanted within as I willingly parted my lips for him. It was a shock that he didn't waste time claiming my lips, and didn't hesitate to trail his big fingers down the small of my back.

"He's just in a hurry to get this over with and not because he's taken by you." I tried to believe the voice ringing in my head as he guarded me to bed. Our lips were still devouring each other's while his hands roamed around my back demandingly.

The chills intensified, and my entire body pulsed in the wake of his touches. I wanted more.

‘Just the heartbreak and the alcohol making you wild.’

He groaned as his lips left mine and started trailing a path from my cheeks down to the hollow of my neck as he laid me down on the bed. My lips parted, eliciting a moan that I couldn't hold back.

This guy was a total stranger and I didn't know the extent of his cleanness, despite the fact his musky scent was assaulting my nose, and the way he looked so prim and proper in that white dress shirt and well-tailored black pants he wore.

But I wasn't talking about physical cleanness. I meant sexually. He had already zipped my gown and slid it off my shoulders, still licking a path down my shoulders when my hazy mind kicked into action.

Breathlessly, I held his shoulders and stepped back.

His brows furrowed before he let out a cocky smile.

"What? Change your mind already?" His crispy deep voice had to be illegal because it always sent a deep rumble through me. That which I chose to ignore.

I scoffed. "You wish." I wasn't ready to give him a win. "Are you clean?"

His cocky smile metamorphosed into a grin as he closed the little distance I previously created. My body stiffened. I thought he was going for my lips, but his face slipped past my cheeks and made for my ear.

"Shouldn't you have asked that before kissing me senseless and jumping on top of me, hmm, dewdrop?" My eyes snapped shut as goosebumps erupted through me. Gosh! The rumble again.

"I..." Honestly, I had no idea what I was about to say, but before I could utter any gibberish his lips circled my ear lobes and his teeth dug softly into the flesh. A loud moan escaped my lips. How did he get to know about that spot being one of my most sensitive spots? I didn't dare ask that.

My mind chose that moment to zero in on his last words.

"Dewdrop!" I echoed as my eyes fluttered open to meet his gorgeous blue eyes. My body shook at the intensity emanating from it.

He nodded, his cocky grim, still in place. "Don't worry, dewdrop. I'm clean. And FYI, I'm going raw."

My eyes widened at his declaration, and before I could protest, my legs were already parted and straddling him. I didn't know how he got there.

"Now, let's give you that wild sex you have craving for." He purred while his fingers shifted my lacy panties and slid in. The slick sound of my center surprised both him and me.

"My! You are so wet, dewdrop." My pupils dilated. I wasn't just wet. I was dripping. I couldn't feel the juices dripping out of my center.

He freed his cock in no time, by sliding down his pants and thong.

My lips fell several inches apart at the sheer size of him.

"God! You are so—"

"So befitting to give you the wild sex you so desire, yes?" He replied firmly.

My lips slammed together in resignation. Great! I wanted him and would have to go ahead with it, break if I might, but I wasn't ready to give him the last laugh.

So, without thinking, I arched my hips up higher to meet his huge and lengthy maleness.

"Then why don't you go ahead with it? Show me what you got."

A low growl rumbled from his lips. "Don't dare me, dewdrop. I won't go gentle."

A mischievous smile crept across my cheeks as my eyes hovered over his rocky chest. His shirt had already left his body, leaving me with a gorgeous sight of his broad chest and sensuous abs. My mouth watered.

"Good! Because I don't want you to."

With another growl, he tugged my gown. "Off!" he commanded. I shimmeyed out of my gown immediately, my gaze never leaving his. I wanted to gauge his reaction.

His jaw slacked as he beheld my near-naked state— left in only my black lacy bra and panties. I didn't waste time in taking them off as well.

Then he gulped, causing his Adam's apple to bubble up and down, before he leaned down and swiftly slid inside of me.

A gasp tore through my lips. "You are so big." I managed to utter as he slid deeper. Another moan left my lips.

His cocky grin was back again. "And I am going to enjoy watching you beg me to go slow, dewdrop." He uttered in a husky voice as he picked up pace, dragging my moans to the next level.

"Oh, God!!"

~LUNA~He called me dewdrop again. I couldn't stop smiling as I stared at his retreating figure before he finally disappeared into his room at the end of the hallway. Not just because he remembered the pet name, but because he suggested dropping me off at school tomorrow. That alone wiped off the traces of anger in my heart at his rejection last night.Even though I wasn't sure where we stood. Or whether there were any traces of likeness he had for me. Or whether that night really meant something to him. I wanted to hold on to the fact that I hadn't totally lost. There was still hope that he might see me as more than a one-night stand. It was a glimmer of hope, but I was willing to hold on to it. See where it would lead me. The one-night stand was just to prove Eric wrong, but right now, it was becoming more. I didn't know how and when it happened. Was it during our throes of passion or afterwards? I couldn't say, but one thing was certain: he had arrested my interest and heart. It

~XANDER~I didn't get much sleep last night. Not because I was up working my ass off, or had a business call that needed to be attended to. But because my mind couldn't rest. It kept taking me back to that scene outside the country club where she held me tightly as though I were her lifeline. For the first time in my life, I jerked off on my own and with the thought of her leading me through."Dammit! Alex!" I cursed under the cascading water emitting from the shower spray.I didn't know how she had become so engraved in my thoughts like that. But whatever the case, it would surely be hard for me to get her off my mind. My mind was restless even in the shower after jerking off the second time that morning, with a frustrated groan that accompanied it. I figured if I wanted to get over her, I needed her to get over me first. But how would I do so without hurting her?The hurtful look I beheld on her face last night was still haunting me. I didn't even bother to check if she had taken t

~XANDER~With my gaze fixed on her receding figure, I gritted my teeth to the point I was sure it would crack, but it didn't. I wish it did, so I would have another pain that would distract me from the one that was gnawing at the pit of my stomach.I shouldn't have replied to her like that. But would you blame me? I was trying to cut off the connection that hitherto existed between us. I figured that if I could, it would be easier to quench this fiery feeling that was rearing its head inside of me.But instead of doing so, it drove an imaginary spear through my heart. It was an imaginary spear, but the pain was lethal; I could feel it deep into my soul.Still gritting my teeth, I removed the already toasted bread from the machine and proceeded to dish out the fried eggs. She might say she had lost her appetite, but I couldn't care less."Hell, I am not buying that." I brought out her plate as well and began dishing. Despite the determination to discontinue whatever it was that was goi

  • 30 Days With My Dashing One-Night Stand Billionaire   Chapter 11 "I've Lost My Appetite..."

~LUNA~ I delayed downstairs, pretending to be invested in the channel playing on the television while in reality, I was waiting for Xander to be done with his brother so we could talk. He didn't mention the exact time frame for the talk we were supposed to have, but I wanted to know what was wrong with him. Why did he seem so closed off and angry, his eyes losing their earlier sparks? The curiosity was so deep-rooted that I didn't consider the option of going upstairs to freshen up— at least to wash off the touch of that human stain off my body. But when minutes morphed into an hour, and an hour flew into hours, I knew I needed to go freshen up. Plus, I didn't want Ace asking me why I hadn't gone up because I had no excuse to give. As I ascended the stairs, half of my mind listened to any sign of a door opening downstairs and the other was on the banter or should I say the squabble between Xander and Ace. Backtrack from the time when Andy asked if we were a thing and I was the

~XANDER~With Andy taking me towards the direction of the study, I knew what he wanted to talk about was serious. And it was something he didn't want any ear to hear. The door of my study was soundproof, so anything done or said there never got out.We entered, with me trailing behind him. I shut the door immediately I got in and made straight for my mini-bar. I had a mini-bar both in my room and in my study. There were times I would be neck deep with work that I wouldn't want to step outside. So, if I needed liquid courage I didn't need to go far to get it.Well, that was a few months back when I still spent time here, and not in my private condominium. But I figured things would change from now on. Speaking of change, Ace had never openly argued with me, playfully or not. But what he did back there... Being so defensive and overprotective... Coupled with his comment at the office earlier today about his guest being special. It was all starting to make sense.Still mulling over that

  • 30 Days With My Dashing One-Night Stand Billionaire   9. The Squabble.

~LUNA~I could tell he was angry. It was obvious from the way he abandoned us at the parking lot and stalked off. He didn't need to talk much, I could see it in the widening of his broad shoulders and the rigidity of his gait. But what I couldn't fathom was why.Still trying to wrap my head around what could possibly be wrong, I stepped out of the car, standing by the side as Ace proceeded to get the key from the keyhole. He was fine before we left the country club, but something shifted during our ride home. I wasn't sure then, because the only outstanding event was him almost getting us killed by slamming on the brakes all of a sudden. My brows furrowed in thought. Now that I thought about it, that action of his depicted anger. But there was still no hint of why he would be angry. I remembered his stare through the rearview mirror when he apologized about it. Nothing in his gaze screamed anger. But his blue eyes had lost their sparks— or was it because I wasn't staring at him dir
