“Keep the Luna and our son safe at all costs! No one is allowed in this room!” Alpha Trevor shouted as he ran out with his Beta.

“Doctor, what will happen when he realizes..” a nurse began to ask before the doctor cut her off.

“Just keep them all safe and pray Alpha won’t kill us.”

On the field Alpha was confused as to why the hunters dared to enter his lands. They were just standing there, as if they were invited. What really is going on here? 

“I wish to speak with the Alpha, not some mutt!” Spat the man in front. 

“I believe you trespassed on our land, you cannot make demands!” Growled my Gamma as I walked up.

I placed my hand on his shoulder and nodded my head, letting him know I will take it from here. I stared at the intruders noting there was only 10 of them. If this went wrong we could handle them. However, the man in the middle, I could sense great power coming off him. What is a high powered Warlock doing with Hunters?

“I can almost hear your thoughts.” He chuckled eerily. 

“What is a high level Warlock doing with the scary Hunters?” he teased.

“Well you see, I fell in love with one of your kind,” he spat as if disgusted. 

“We did everything together, not knowing, I was some dirty little secret. You see, apparently the love of my life is ashamed to be in love with the King of Warlocks and Witches. She was to be my Queen.” 

You could see the love in his eyes as he spoke, but you could also feel his pain with the way he spoke. Internally my wolf howled proudly, as Alpha I gave the orders. No wolf is to mix our species with another. It was a treaty all species came up with to ensure the peace. Yes, I wished we could have changed the law. I recently met my true mate, but because of the treaty, I rejected her. It was an old outdated law made by the dragon council. Only the King of wolves could change the law.

“Well, why are you here on my lands? It’s not my rule, I am just an Alpha. I follow the treaty voted in by all of us. One, even you voted for.” I replied.

“That was before I found what you call mate. However, our kind call them soulmates. Two souls tethered together by a magical thread.”

“OK,  same thing. I don’t see what that has to do with my pack.” I said impatiently.

I wanted to go back to my Luna and Prince. This man needs to get on with it or, we would force them off my lands.

“Ah, so she hasn’t said a word about me?” 

“Who?” I asked.

“The Luna! She played me for a fool. So, now as part of the agreement she made, I am here to collect the payment she owes me. I told her from the very beginning, if we are to do this, she cannot break our blood oath without paying a price.”

“How much does she owe you?” 

“Not how, rather a whom? Whom does she owe to me. Simple, she broke the blood oath causing me to lose a child, so I am here to collect what is rightfully mine! If I do not receive my payment, the Hunters here I created, will get me the child at any cost.” He replied smugly.

Shocked at first he would dare demand my child. Then my anger and rage began coursing through my veins, as my wolf began to surface.

“OUR CHILD IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE! HE IS MINE! TAKE HER IF YOU’D LIKE, SHE IS TAINTED NOW ANYWAY. BUT, WE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO TAKE OUR SON!” My wolf growled out clearly pissed.

No matter what, we would fight to protect the prince. Right then and there I knew what I had to do. No matter what, my child will be safe. I shifted into my giant white wolf. He had icy blue eyes staring murderously at the man. We were no ordinary wolf, we were blessed by the Moon Goddess, almost double the size of any other wolf. 

Upon seeing that we were ready to fight, and that they were clearly out numbered, the man’s hands and body began to glow, and his eyes turned white. The wind picked up around us as he began to speak.

“I will have the blood oath satisfied! The child is mine, and I won’t stop until I have it. From this day forward, I share a gift with the Hunters. They will forever be immortal as we are, until they serve their purpose. Return my child to me in a fortnight, or we begin eliminating the wolves. Thus is the consequences your Luna’s betrayal brought upon all your kind.” 

We all witnessed a bright green thread escape the man’s chest, it quickly headed towards the hospital. As quickly as it appeared it was gone. With that, they vanished in thin air.

“Amber what have you done?” I softly whispered in anger.

That two timing tramp brought this onto us, but I must protect my heir. There is no way possible I would give him up. I quickly darted back towards the hospital, afraid he would try to take my child. I burst through the doors still in wolf form, and quickly made it to their room. My child’s scent smelled wrong. Shifting back in human form I slowly made my way to the sleeping infant. I noticed the name card first, Rebel Teller. Strong name for our future Alpha. 

Still, something was off. My child had great power within him. Did the man do this? Then I sniffed again, and let out a loud growl.

“What have you done? You cursed us all, lied to me, laid with a warlock, and had his child! Did you really think I wouldn’t know? I can smell him, this child is NOT mine. Now, because of the WHORE LUNA, all wolves are in danger of being killed.” I spat in Amber’s face.

“Now, take your bastard daughter and get off my lands NOW! I, ALPHA TREVOR TELLER, HEREBY REJECT AND BANISH AMBER ROSE FROM THE BLOOD MOON PACK. NOW ACCEPT BY ORDERS OF THE ALPHA!” I shouted angrily. 

“I, Amnm…ber Rose, of Midnight Rose Pack, daughter of Alpha Alex Rose, ac…accept you..uuu.r rejection.” She stuttered out crying. 

The bond broke and I could feel the pain, but the anger and betrayal kept me grounded. 

“Now get up and run! Before I send the warriors after you both, and let them rip you both to shreds.”
