Chapter 18 - It wasn't a nightmare or was it?

Amelia’s point of view:

Growling, he stared right back into my eyes. The sound was guttural, low and thick. “L-L-Look, don’t you dare try to scare me, okay!” I warned him but my voice betrayed me.

“What if I do?” He reached my side in a flash. Jerking back in shock, I gasped when his face stopped inches away from mine.

I gulped. We maintained eye contact for a moment. I couldn’t bring myself to glance away. It seemed like he had me hypnotized. I couldn’t look away from his yellow eyes.

He hastily yet smoothly picked me up. I squealed in surprise.

He threw me upside down over his right shoulder and carried me back towards the bed.

“Leave me!” I punched his back but his steps didn’t falter whatsoever.

What was he made of, rocks?

“I’m telling you, I’m going to throw up.”

Quick as lightning, he skillfully yet carefully moved me around until he was holding me bridal style.

“Leave me!” I thrashed in a desperate way to get out of his grip.

“If you move one more time, I’ll throw you
