Chapter 48 - Who do I choose?

Alejandro’s point of view:

At first, there were just those vampires and that too, the Vampire King himself trying to harm Amelia but now, that hunter was also after her. To keep her safe, I had to bring her here against her will. If they’d get to her, they might kill her just to hurt me.

The enmity between us started way before I’d even been born. I don’t know what exactly happened that led to us being enemies. My parents ended up dying while protecting me from those vampires.

To make matters worse, hunters started roaming our forest in search for our kind to prove to humans that we do exist but we don’t want to be found and definitely not by them.

They’d treat us like abomination that needed to be erased completely from this world.

It’s quite funny though! We were here before them.

Just because there are billions of them and only about a million of us; doesn’t mean that they’ve got some kind of power over us. We are both being governed by someone of sovereignty.
