Chapter 44 - Our lips were millimeters apart from one another.

Amelia’s point of view:

Without another word, he stormed out of his bedroom, leaving the door to bang shut behind him. I jumped at the noise that echoed inside the room.

He was mad furious.

But I couldn’t care less. He’d already imprisoned me here, in his bedroom. He’d already made up his mind and announced his decision. What more can he do? Hit me…? Honestly speaking, I wouldn’t be surprised if he did so just to keep me here as his destined mate.

What did I expect? He is just as wild as those rogues that tried to hurt me when I’d first ventured into this forest.
