Chapter Sixteen

"Hey, I heard we will soon have a transfer student." Jennet said, sucking on her purple lollipop which matched with her purple wavy hairs. The others gasped in surprise, turning to her. The first to talk was Maicy, the red head. "Wow, really? That's awesome! We have to show them around our school!"

Jennet smiled, before Lory the blue head spoke up. "We can even ask her to be a part of our circle!"

"That, is the problem." Jennet replied as her smile faded, and the others frowned before Soralina voiced out everyone's concern. "Why not?"

All eyes remained trained on Jennet who fidgeted with her lollipop now, looking around. "It's...not a her. It's a he. A guy."

A few 'Ah's were heard as the realization dawned on them, leaving a bitter feeling behind. Betty the yellow head pouted, tossing her orange flavoured lollipop away. "That's bad. I really wanted a green in our circle."

The others nodded in their misery as well, feeling bad that their rainbow was left incomplete all over again.
